  We stayed here for one night prior a flight back to Australia. Perfect spot for an early start. The staff are lovely, professional and keen to assist. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is tired, our room had been repainted and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom needed renovating. Room had blackout curtains and was quite, one exception you could hear doors closing. Reasonably priced and fine for an overnight before a flight home.

  Stayed here over the years on trips back to Scotland unfortunately no room maintenance has been done gets more worn every time I stay was there 2 weeks ago never again as the price was ridiculous for the standard of the room - pluses staff are lovely also biggest attraction proximity to the airport but after my last experience would rather stay elsewhere and get a clean functioning room

  I had a lovely experience at Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport, and I would especially like to thank Amina, Charlotte and Siri. They were all incredibly kind, welcoming and professional throughout my stay. Their friendly attitudes and willingness to help made me feel comfortable and valued from the moment I arrived. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their excellent customer service truly stood out. Thank you for making my experience such a positive one. You are a credit to the hotel, and I hope your hard work is recognised☺️☺️☺️

  Booked a night here before our flight. We decided to stay in and order room service because it had been a long 10 days and we were exhausted. Rang room service but no one answered... And I let it ring for a long time. Tried a few different times. Finally called the operator. After letting it ring 30 or 40 times, someone finally picked up and transferred me to room service. I ordered our food and it was delivered in about 25 minutes - but one thing was wrong. I ordered the beef and mushroom wellington pie and they sent some sort of dessert pie. Back on the phone, trying to ring room service with no luck after several, SEVERAL attempts. Tried the operator again - no luck. Tried the front desk and after a minute or two of letting it ring, someone finally transferred me. Only this time, it went to a messaging service. Tried again to be transferred.. Which took another 5 or 6 minutes, only to get to the messaging service again. By this time, the ice cream they put on TOP of a hot apple tart had melted into a soupy blob. I was so tired and also fighting a sinus infection, and hadn't eaten all day, I grabbed the soupy mess and went down to the front desk. I told them what happened and that I just wanted to get the right food and ice cream that wasn't melted before I could eat it. The two females at rgw front desk seemed unconcerned but luckily, the manager of the restaurant.. I think... Ali was his name was nearby and said the ice cream on the tarte was unacceptable and that it should have been on the side. And that he would get my food order corrected and sent up. He could see how exhausted and frustrated I was and gave me a big hug, refunded my entire bill, sent me back to the room with a double whisky, and had the right order to my door almost immediately. He is the reason I've added an extra star to this review. Otherwise, it would have been one star because the service is absolutely terrible.

  Went to stay overnight, and we had a really great stay! Wished we could stay longer, but it was a straightforward trip (as we were fetching a friend from the airport). So here's my review: Location: Coming from Newcastle, it was a fairly uneventful drive - easily located through satnav/google maps. It was a little bit tricky to get navigate into the hotel parking lot as it was our first time ever to visit the place (and we didn't want to get lost! 😂). Basically you go through the airport premises and follow the road markings 😂. The place was very convenient for us as the arrivals bay was literally just 2 minutes walk (and behind) the hotel! - I noticed it was really busy and full of people either going for flights or arriving from trips - but it was not chaotic - seemed like the hotel staff really had the situation handled well. Parking: The hotel had a small parking lot that can accommodate about 20 cars, and there was also a long stay carpark building just behind it. Parking was to be paid for on check in, and there's a machine by the hotel doors that will allow you to sort it out for the duration of your stay. You also need to ask for a ticket from the reception desk everytime you left the airport premises for you to scan at the gates so that you can leave the vicinity without paying double. Room: We paid for a standard double room, which was fairly large and had all the basic amenities expected: - large double bed with en suite + toiletries - desk with a coffee/tea station - chairs and a table, telly - wardrobe with hangers, ironing board+iron - hairdryer The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (and had sockets for charging), but the pillows were too soft for my liking (only con IMO). Breakfast: This came paid for with the booking, and it was the usual continental buffet breakfast. No frills, but there was a nice selection to suit every palate. Overall, a really nice place to stay - and even though it was next to the airport, I swear I didn't hear any airport-related sounds at all! Slept like a baby! 100% recommend - will definitely consider picking Glasgow airport and this hotel to stay in for my travel back home. 🥰
