  First time at this Premier Inn but I have visited many others over the years and I happy to say I was not disappointed. The consistency, reliability, and uniform quality of the brand was still present. I secured a Premier Plus room which I find offers great value for money but the with additional touches that are not in their regular rooms. A minor point to note and its not limited to their 'Plus' room is the card asking to put recycling waste 'next' to the bin. I'd rather put any waste in a bin. Perhaps provide an additional bin for recyclable waste.

  Standar Premier Inn hotel, good quite room that was comfy. Staff were non-attentive at the bar/restaurant (one thing I don't like is when staff make themselves look busy and avoid making eye contact until they're ready).

  Automated reception. I prefer having people sorting you the room stuff and explaining things. This is good when you arrive late but not all day.

  I stay here on a regular basis work book this hotel when I am away training. This hotel as a room is fine it’s a premier in like they say you know what your getting Comfy beds and it’s clean. However The restaurant is diabolical it always has been. Now recently it has been renovated and re named. So I thought I’d give it a go this time. Honestly what a disaster. The cutlery was dirty, The staff were too busy acting like they were in primary school. To actually serve the customers. There was barely any food actually available on the menu. When I chose my meal this is how the nachos came. A portion fit for a child not an adult and I could have presented it better with some dip and Doritos in the car park. That’s ok because I then had the burger. The burger meat itself was good. The bun would have been better off being used as a ww3 bunker because I’m telling you now that thing was solid. Not to worry because I then waited a hour to ask for my cheesecake. A further 15 minutes goes by and this bit will shock you. Sorry sir we don’t have any cheese cake either. So no desert for Dan. So I’ve left the restaurant yet again disappointed slightly mad, hungry and wishing I’d just gone to Nando’s next door. Please do not waste your money on this restaurant there’s so much better just in the same car park. Again I will say I can’t fault the rooms. But give up on the restaurant it’s never going to be good.

  I came to stay in premier plus room the 18th sept. We love coming there as we use alot for travelling as a half way stay for our destination .Maya and Amanya as always where the best in the restaurant we loved chatting to them. We are well known by most of the staff . The morning of breakfast was a disaster 😩 not alot of choice for fruit salad or pastries left. The lady with her hair up was very hostile to us . We always book plus room and meal deal for nearly 2 yrs now . We came after 9.30 that morning. We approached and said room 9 please. She ask what was our name as they don't accept room numbers only names. We told her our double barrelled name. She couldn't find it. She said are you sure we where staying room 9 ? What was our name being it is a doubled barrel surname it was not clear on the list in front . She said are you sure you paid??? We always do room and meal deals. I said yes explained about our name said try our last part of my name . We felt terrible 😪 and nearly walked out of the restaurant. My husband wouldn't eat much 1 slice of toast he was upset by the way we where spoken to. Plus only 1 towel and hand towel in room which my husband was unable to shower . So he said don't bother to ask for one at reception as we had a bad experience in the restaurant that morning. We love coming here as we come at least 10 plus visits a year . Hopefully all os well beginning in Oct . We certainly don't want to go anywhere else .
