  Absolutely do not stay here if you care about actually sleeping in a clean and quiet place. First red flag is that when I opened the door it smelled like sewage. I read in the other reviews that they had a sewage leak and didn’t replace the carpets but it smelled SO awful I had to leave the window open all night. I was checking for bed bugs and found a huge blood stain on my bed. They do not change the sheets! I only had 3 and a half hours to sleep so it wasn’t worth it for me to complain and change rooms since there were no lifts we had to carry our big bags up the stairs!!! Also it was noisy from other guests and there was constant noise outside as well since it’s next to a stop! Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here, pay the extra £20 to stay elsewhere!

  Perfectly fine and very convenient for the M40/A43. Some.ok options for food in the services but nothing particularly healthy. Great value though

  Great location with stores closed by! Great amenities. Great location with easy bus to Oxford. The price was a steal for a hotel near Oxford. Free parking was great as well with EV chargers near by.

  Had a few issues with the room, of which one was quickly resolved but the other was not. Considering I was booked in for 6 nights, I would have appreciated the offer to be moved to another room, but it wasn't offered. The staff were very friendly. Overall, I found the hotel looking tired and in need of refurbishment..

  They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, especially when you’ve never read it. I have always held out that motorway service hotels are all the same, ie bad, simply because I assumed they were. How wrong I was, especially about the Ramada Oxford M40 hotel. Not only were the staff incredibly helpful, but they went out of their way which is way more than I expected. Easy parking, which was included with my room rate, great staff, spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, a very comfortable bed (I had a brilliant night’s sleep), great WiFi (included in my room rate), great choice of tv channels, no outside noise. Can’t forget the tea and coffee making facilities too! Oh, and an on-site restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Excellent choice and very decent prices. I’ve been truly impressed by this property, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs accommodation in that area. Its location is Junction 8a, on the M40.
