- HRHelen Roberts1 day ago2.0I've stayed in plenty of Premier Inn's and usually have a pleasant stay and a comfortable bed. This hotel however was very tired and in desperate need of renovation. The hotel is spread over two buildings so you walk down miles if corridors. Like another reviewer, I was unfortunately on the side of the Eastern bypass and was disturbed by the annoying metal drain that cars drive over, this has not been addressed and should be. I would not recommend staying here.

He was really friendly and funny, made check in really easy. Room really clean and tidy, credit to the housekeeping staff... well done

Wij waren met de fiets en dit was de eerste keer dat ze geen mogelijkheden hadden om deze veilig te plaatsen voor 2 dagen. Werd ook niet over meegedacht. Uiteindelijk hebben we ze maar in de kamer gezet. Wifi is waardeloos. Kamer is verder prima.

The air conditioning in the room was broken during one of the hottest nights in England, and staying there with two small kids became extremely difficult and stressful and unbearable. The room was unbearably hot, the children could not sleep properly, and neither could we. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of support from reception staff. We asked if they could provide at least a fan or offer any practical solution, but they were unable to help. Even providing some cool water!!!! We understand that technical issues can happen, but basic customer care and trying to support families in such conditions should be expected from a hotel chain like Premier Inn. Sadly, this stay did not meet even basic comfort standards, and we left exhausted rather than rested.

The bed and mattress was very comfortable. Good standard of cleanliness throughout. Only slight negative was the self check in rather than being greeted by a receptionist. Parking is payable via app or at a terminal near the entrance.
