  Decent sized room booked last minute for work, a bit of walk from reception but away from traffic and noise. Breakfast was at the Beefeater in between the two buildings, lots of space, decent selection of normal premier inn style break buffet. fresh fruit could have been a little more options on 2nd day, presume they ran out but alternative was ok. Tesco Extra and Burger King 10 minute walk away, just need to be patient with the road crossings and walk across to the retail park. One tip if driving, remember to let reception know so they can add you to the free parking system. Also don't park under the trees if possible as the birds there seem to love dive bombing and covering your freshly washed car in a matter of hours. :)

  Total joke ..working away stopped here a few times was ok when the beefeater was there..now its changed to a premier inn dining .which is a disgrace ..only 2 beers on tap and went to order food and they dont accept cash .unlucky for me i left my bank card at home and only had cash on me.been up since 3 am worked all day and couldnt get nothing to eat because they dont accept cash .😡😡

  We went to Oxford to enjoy an event with many friends. This hotel marred that significantly and ate away at our time, trying to get them resolved. We did not go to Oxford to debug the Premier Inn's multiple problems. I have rarely experienced such a catastrophic hotel stay. By the second night we were already in our third room. When we took our first trip in the lift, we found the grab handle was not properly attached. This was a potential hazard for us as we both have spinal problems. For reasons unknown, we had rooms that were as far away from the lifts as it was possible to get. We started in room 418. It was fine until we took a bath. It seems that there was a leak under it. End result the bathroom floor was flooded. We went back to the check-in area that was in a different building. We reported the problems. Very reasonably, we were offered a change of room to 521 and were told the grab-rail would be fixed. We were on our way to a booked event in Oxford, so could not hang around to move our own luggage, as reception wanted us to do. We cut short our event to come back in the afternoon to move our belongings to 521. We then went back to the reception, in the other building. We met with different employees. We explained the situation, including that making disabled people move their bags wasn't reasonable. We returned to our event. When we came back in the evening, we found a note in our room, offering a premier plus room and breakfast. We were exhausted. Rather than driving between the buildings, we phoned and accepted the offer. One of the staff moved our bags this time. Room 22 is in the same building as reception. At first we were relieved to have a room with far fewer apparent problems. The worst we noted was that the toilet in the accessible room needed some work to flush it. The next day, we found that the Formica along the whole front of the desk was peeling. In the morning, we found that a leak from the coffee machine soaked some of our possessions. We did not have the energy to report these issues. There were other problem that showed the general dilapidated state of this Premier Inn.

  Very disappointing stay at Premier Inn Oxford. We stayed for 3 nights, and our room was not cleaned or serviced on any of the days. On top of that, the room was boiling hot, which made it very uncomfortable, especially at night. The breakfast area was also very dirty. The floor was sticky, and the person in charge was touching different items with their hands. There were also no utensils or tools available for picking up the croissants and other bakery items, which was very unhygienic. Overall, the cleanliness, hygiene and comfort standards were far below what we expected from Premier Inn. Unfortunately, this made our stay very unpleasant, and we expected much better.

  I was under the impression that the core of Premier Inn's success as a brand is the customer perception, or certainly mine, that "you know what you're going to get with a Premier Inn." Unfortunately this stay made me question my perception of Premier Inn, and I will certainly consider other options, especially when I weigh up the poor condition of this site, alongside the almost £500 my client paid for my stay. The fact that my client paid and also stayed there is why I didn't say anything during my stay, I didn't want to make a fuss or make them feel bad. Location is what it is, I knew where I had book location wise so that's 5/5. But everything else was 2 out of 5 at best. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the smell on the second floor hall. Some sort of sewage issue was my guess. My bathroom smelled the same. The mattress was creaky and old, staff were very young and didn't know a lot of basics, not their fault, they clearly need training and support. In the bar almost all tap options were out, at breakfast the hot stuff was served late, the plates were in the warmers but stone cold, the options when they came out were limited and unappealing. The floor was dangerously greasy and slippery. One night the restaurant couldn't open because of a problem with the tills. Lastly the front doors to the restaurant weren't in use, so everyone had to enter around the back which wasn't great looking or smelling. If I was paying I would have complained and requested a partial refund, especially if I was with my family.
