Location, nice and quiet even being alongside the A34, I was 3rd floor and there wasnt much noise. However if you are heading into the town centre this is a good 35 minute walk, or £13 appx cab. Room, comfortable with your typical premier inn style. However the bed base was so sqeaky when you rolled over. Normal kettle and telly. Bathroom was good, walk in shower which just needed revamping. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Had to pop down as I didnt have any towels. Thankfully noticed before getting in the shower. The air conditioning worked perfectly thankfully in the extreme heat wave. Good size car park, good selection of shops, restaurants and a pub within a very short walk. Handy McDonald's if you walk 5 minutes under the A34.

We stayed here in room 101 between 12/06/26 and 14/06/26. Our room had not been hoovered and there was black mould in the bathroom between the tiles. Additionally the extra bag of pillows had the seal broken and the pillows were dirty. On informing the manager half way into our stay that this was the case, he did not seem to care and did not apologise. He said the room would be cleaned that afternoon. On our return the room had not been hoovered, the pillows not replaced and the bed had been made but the sheets not replaced. Would not recommend and we will not be staying here again.

Overall a good hotel. Friendly staff. Check-in was a little mixed because the room still wasn’t ready after 3pm. For a hotel chain that makes you pay more to turn up before 3pm, maybe *they* can pay you money back if the room isn’t ready till after 3pm? Haha yeah right… But given the incredibly cheap price (I paid £43 for a family room), I wasn’t going to complain too much. The room was very standard. It had aircon. Parking was slightly chaotic, because there were no signs in the car park that you didn’t need to pay if you were staying at the Premier Inn. So you had to hope it was ok and then check with the receptionist. I noticed other people doing the same so this is clearly a problem and not just me. At the time of writing Oxford has gone into meltdown because the main road from the hotel into town is shut. This makes the bus totally non-viable, particularly with kids. To get in to town you have to bite the bullet and pay the ridiculous car toll fee of £5, as well as parking for the only car park in town in the main shopping centre. I guess this is why the hotel is so cheap.

Been here the night before bank holiday, during heatwave: hall, corridors and restaurant were well refrigerated, while in the room (with no chance to open window) was not possible to set properly temperature…max speed and lowest temperature, but only a soft breath come out. A real sauna. Very bad experience! Breakfast was good (at it is not always a standard at premier inn): lot of fruit, cereals, different kind of milks and pastries.
