  The location of the hotel was good and right next to parking which was helpful. The service was fine. We only spoke to a member of staff once as the self check in wasn’t working. The room was not clean. The 2 chairs in the room had a hand sized brown stain on each. The sheets were clean but the bathroom had hair and mold. It had a weird white stain around the floor and did not look like it had been cleaned well at all.

  The best premier inn for staff friendliness, value for money, great breakfast and fantastic location for Town Centre and nearby bars, restaurants, shopping and live music in pubs, on a Friday night

  First of all, can I say if these pizzas that are served in this premier inn were on an Italian high street I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference... Honestly not really a pizza lover.. but endulged 3 times in 1 week.. Also I might add that I get the drift the staff actually do care about your stay. I really get that feeling. Other bonus points really really quiet nights inside and outside of the building. Great location and cheap parking! Many thanks rob ((M J Hughes)

  Getting to the hotel was a nightmare, as the satnav took us to the other Premier Inn and finding out where the car park is was time consuming and frustrating. Perhaps consider providing precise directions and parking advice upon booking? We were on the 3rd floor and the room was lovely, apart from the high sided bath that we had to climb in and out of to get a shower. Our friends on the same floor are 10 years older than us, so I have no idea how they coped with this, especially as there was no separate shower mat and I (being more agile than our friends) slipped and banged my knee getting out of the bath. Our bed (room 315) felt like it was angled towards the headboard and we didn’t sleep very well on the first night. We put our pillows at the foot of the bed and our feet towards the headboard on the 2nd night and slept much better. What absolutely made up for the above were the staff. Dimitrius and the lady with the blonde bobbed hair and glasses were customer service personified and I cannot praise them highly enough, they are absolutely assets to Premier Inn. Everyone that we interacted with, whether that be at breakfast or the cleaner were such outstanding attributes to the Company.

  I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Banbury Town Centre (Castle Quay), and overall I had a good experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, right in the town centre, making it easy to access shops, restaurants and other local amenities. It is also close to Castle Quay Shopping Centre, so the location is particularly useful if you want to explore Banbury without having to travel far. The hotel room was okay and had everything I needed for my stay. It was suitable for a short visit. In terms of space, I would say it was not as spacious as some of the other Premier Inn rooms I have stayed in, but it was still perfectly fine for my needs. The room had the usual facilities you would expect from a Premier Inn, and overall it provided a comfortable place to relax after being out during the day. The staff were good and friendly. The check-in experience was straightforward, and the staff were helpful and polite whenever I needed anything. Good customer service always makes a difference, and I was happy with the service I received during my stay. One thing worth knowing before arriving is the parking situation. You need to use the multi-storey car park rather than having parking directly outside the hotel. After parking, it is only a short walk to the hotel, so it is not a major problem, although carrying luggage between the car park and hotel can be a little inconvenient. The central location is definitely one of the main advantages of this hotel. There are plenty of places nearby to eat, shop and walk around, and you can easily explore the town on foot. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, the staff were good, and the location was very convenient. The parking arrangement is something to keep in mind, but the short walk from the multi-storey car park is manageable. I would consider staying here again when visiting Banbury.
