  Checked in with my husband and children on Saturday there was only 1 member of staff for the entire site as 4 people called in sick and manager could not be bothered to help out. Nobody cleaned our bedroom no fresh towels or nothing. The worse premier inn I ever stayed... Nobody is ever in reception, was told no breakfast available nor dinner... Then some people were having breakfast... So really poor communication.

  AVOID LIKE THE PLAQUE - I run a small business and stay at Prem Inn's all over the UK booking many rooms each month. The overall service and quality across the UK is at an all time low but at this hotel the customer 'service' was the worst. We had booked 3 rooms for 4 people and meal deals arriving at 6pm. Josh a scruffy man was in reception. The first thing I asked was "do we need to book a table for dinner" Josh - "No we are not doing evening meals anymore" Me - "Since when"? Josh - "My boss decided this morning" Me - "Did you not think to contact us and let us know" Josh - "Well we couldn't contact 130 people could we?" There was no apology. No alternative offered. No "I am so sorry, can i suggest some places to eat". His tone was rude and short. He then sat in his chair while I struggled to check us all in. It was evident he hated his job and was not going to help in anyway or be polite. I asked him to refund the meal deals and he said he would but it turned out he only refunded the evening meals leaving us having to run around today calling customer service in india to fix it. I am sick and tired the shocking standards of this chain and will not be returning. Oxford trading standard should really investigate as it is not a 'Premier' experience and its no longer an 'Inn" as they don't serve evening meals.   Such a very very sad day it has now closed for people to go and have breakfast and dinner unless you have a room there as as havw been going for years and now miss it very much because of constant cost of living going up and up and up 😪

  Really unpleastant member of staff on the front desk, The man wasnt nice at all during booking in continued to tell me there was no meal deal or parking on the booking when i showed him there was. Restruant closed on saturaday night, breakfast on sunday morning was just thrown into serving dishes with no care or attention. After years of using premier inns and always being happy with the service this was a massive dissapointment. Will make sure not to book here again. Room hadnt been cleaned properly, bannana skins behind the sofa / bed along with empty water bottles. Shame this has let the brand down.

  Did a two night stay. Hotel is generally showing signs of wear and tear but for an overnight stay of for a couple nights it's more than adequate. Breakfast the first day was extremely poor and I struggled to find anything hot that looked edible. The second morning was a vast improvement. Didn't do any evening meals so can't comment of the standard in that respect. If you're not fussed there is an M & S directly opposite. There is terribly confusing gyratory near the hotel so make sure your sat nav is up to the task.
