  We use Premier Inns quite a lot however we booked wet room and they gave us a bathroom so I went to reception and she said oh we have a problem and she explained there was not another one vacant, I feel we should have been told that before we went to the room. We went to Beefeater to have a meal even though we were staying in the hotel, the man I presume was the manager said you will need to go to the bar to order your food? I wouldn't mind but I am disabled and my partner couldn't not have gone to the bar as he has Alzheimer's and this is a Beefeater never I any other restaurant of this chain I have never been told needed to order food from bar it was classed as a restaurant. The young lad on the bar was lovely and he did bring the drinks to the table for me so that was very helpful. We weren't impressed with the food either the steaks were a bit too chewy for us. Premier Inn itself is on sort of industrial estate but mainly car dealships very quiet. There is also an Asda petrol station on same place so if you need petrol going in or before you leave prices weren't too bad considering we were on outskirts of York.

  Room was quiet enough , bathroom looked like it had been flooded at some point and to be honest the room wasn't the cleanest . Moldy tiles and dirty toilet , dust on most surfaces . The worst part was the restaurant . Really expensive for what you got and the kids meal was the worst I have ever seen . A table spoon of mash , 2 of the most anemic sausage I have ever seen and a pot of gravy ! No veg .. it might have been ok for a toddler but my 10 year old ended up going over the road to the other restaurant within an hour of eating . It was a huge let down to be honest but luckily we only stayed one night .

  Not the nicest or cleanest of premier inns we've stayed inn, was quite surprised. Floors, walls and chairs grubby. But ok if your just staying a day or 2 for york. Good location for drink and food. Pud connected to premier inn, chippy, Chinese and McDonald's all in walking distance. We ate at the chippy and dam that's beat chippy I've ever had restaurant was beautiful.

  My partner & i been staying at this Premier Inn, adjacent to the Millfield Beefeater restaurant , for over 10 years & we can truly say we have enjoyed every single stay . Most enjoyable location too & the staff looking after you in the Beefeater restaurant , especially Sean O'connor, Annie & Sam are so welcoming, polite & attentive & the reception staff , meet & greet , is a great start to a relaxing stay in lovely York 😊. Thankyou & hopefully we will see you all again, in the near future .
