  Room was good to sleep in for one to two nights. Shower was rusty so didn't use as we only stayed one night. The beer garden looks abandoned no kids play area any more. Fenced off and padlocked the canal way. Gammon steak was small and a bit more burned than I would have liked. Brownie was not as expected, it look like 2 small flapjacks. Bar staff didn't know what cocktails they did had to use the book for a pina colada. The bar looked run down and sparce. Premier inn owners should not have made brewers fayre, beefeater, etc, in to just Premier inn guests. They are going to lose a hell of a lot of money and customers because people love to go them places. Every time me, my boyfriend and family went there they were always packed. Now they are awkwardly quiet. This is going to ruin Premier inns for good.

  Not been in since I was a child it was so beautiful back then, and so clean. Just been there recently, the pub looks all run down needs a clean up and looks unloved. The room was alright got a good night sleep it was quiet. The issue was that the staff at the bar didn’t know what they was doing, they was drinking on the job they even joked about it to us. They didn’t take there job seriously, closed up the restaurant 45 minutes early yes they was no one in the restaurant but what if someone wanted a drink last minute or food and I don’t think the opening hours is enough only opened for 4 hours for dinner.

  The Premier Inn here is as clean and tidy as you would expect from any PI. If you are checking online first, don't be put off by the somewhat run down pub it is adjacent to. What makes the difference at this PI is the staff. They are outstanding. A big shout out to them for our one night stay and if we come back this way we will stay here again.

  Sooo..... This is our second day here and all is not good, good would be an improvement, a large part of the carpark was closed off, looking like it was getting ready for ground work, half the restaurant looked abandoned, no lighting, no seats not tables On our first day, arrived at the hotel, all seemed good, meet someone at reception, got the room keys, then off for some food, this is where things feel apart fast / or slow depending on your view \ We ordered 2 classic burgers, 2 spaghetti Bolognese and a margarita pizza, this took 50 minutes to turn, only to be cold. An old couple next us learned across to tell us they have been waiting 1 hour 10 minutes for there food, they walked out shortly after without receiving there food. Day two, breakfast.... The problems continue, no pasties No cows milks, only soya milk No orange juice... Why are we still here ?... We have decided to leaving early tomorrow morning

  Easy to find,Plenty of parking. Evening Receptionist was excellent. Room was very well prepared..Double bed very comfortable (single bed also made up, and spare under the double). Resteraunt ...Very quiete evening. Attentive staff..Slight problem with selected meal ..offerred alternative and discount Breakfast - Very quiete... Sufficient food options .
