Reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Scarborough town, close to many shops and restaurants and a short walk down to the beach. Had an enjoyable stay here for 2 nights in June, friendly staff, has automatic check in machines as well. Will visit again if I am looking for accomodation I Scarborough.

Biggest room I have ever stayed in, the view was spectacular. I mean it when I say 10 out for 10 stay, will definitely come back again.

Premier Inns are a budget hotel so I don't expect much. However a panoramic view of the bin store and staff smoking area through a dirty window with bird crap across it wasn't the best start. The room was clean & tidy, the shower powerful and the water hot. The food however was awful, I purchased a meal deal for dinner through Premier Inn (so their responsibility). The food was from the adjacent Brewers Fayre. Having eaten at other sites where this arrangement is operated I thought I knew what I was signing up for, however.... Do not buy the meal deal. This Brewers Fayre is awful. I gave them 1 star in my review of them. Premier Inn you need to have a chat with your Business Partners.

Be very wary if you are a wheelchair user/disabled. To begin with there is no accessible parking for the hotel. There are lots of long, never ending corridors with heavy doors that have to be opened manually and it's very difficult to do in a wheelchair. The room faced a very noisy street with loud pubs and a busy road. The bathroom had a broken shower hose and a moldy shower seat. The bedroom had several huge cobwebs. I was unable to get the breakfast we paid for as the small lift down to the restaurant was broken and when I asked for assistance I was met with a negative attitude and made to feel like I was a nuiscance. Had to cancel all the breakfasts we had booked and go elsewhere. The member of staff also didn't wipe anything down or provide seperate cultery after we informed her that my son has a severe peanut allergy so he didn't feel safe eating there. (This is such a shame as the staff at Knottingham premier Inn were amazing and the service was excellent). Also one particular male staff member who was "cleaning" the rooms had such terrible body odour that it left a trail of stench in the very long , never ending corridors. Very unproffesional and very unpleasant to have to smell that the whole time we were there. Overall our stay was very disappointing which is such a shame because we usually have a great experience with Premier Inn but sadly , not this time. The building is not accessible enough and the staff need better hygeine and better customer service skills. Parking is very much needed. Especially disabled parking and perhaps but the accessible rooms closer to the entrance of the building, rather than miles away from it.

To start when we booked this place it was for 3 rooms 2 accessable and one normal double room, qe was told these rooms aould be next to each other. The rooms was spread out across what I could only deacribe as a maze none of the 3 rooms was next to each other. They was booked well in advance. Most of the staff was nice and pleasent appart from the woman who half served us in the resturant and one of the giys who is supposed to clean the rooms but instead made everywhere smell of stale 10 day old B.O. The room itself qas nice enoigh the shower however was discusting. We had to tape the pipe because it was leaking and the shower seat was realy moldy see pics. Cobwebs near extractor fan which was not so bad but wouldnt take much for them to remove them. The location is realy bad no parking no parking for disability access neither so expect a long walk with luggage. When you do finaly parked and get to the hotel you have to zig zag your way throu coridor after corridor and door after door, this would not be doable for self proppeled wheelchair users using the hotel. Their is a pub on one sode and another on the other side they are noisy as hell so of its not hot ypu can close the windows but ire sticj if its hot. Then lets start with the poop show we are supposed to call breakfast. I have put pics in to show access or lack of and the note they have left. All the hot food bacon, egg sossage and whatnot are all premade in tins down stairs with no working lift, not only that the peanut butter packages are sat with everything on the side. So as my son has a severe nut allergy this made it so he could not eat at all due to cross contamination risk. My partner has to use wheel chair and for this reason she could not go down to get food. Why would we not ask a memebr of staff for help you may ask, well we tried and was made to feel lile we was askimg her if we could eat her lunch she realy did not have the time and had a realy bad attitude. I would go get the foor for my partner but that kind of takes away her freedom to choose and as i dont think for het It would not of being right. The access for this place was realy realy bad. WARNING if you are in need of accessability due to mobility issues or have allergies avoid this place.
