The receptionist on arrival was welcoming and explained everything to us what we needed to know. The breakfast was excellent, food and service, so much so that the poached eggs were done to the highest standard by 2 chefs and impressed my wife, who can be fussy on her eggs! Service in the breakfast restaurant was superb, by all the staff, nothing too much trouble. We decided to stay a further night and the receptionist made this extra stay so easy and simple to do, nothing was too much trouble. We were even able to stay in the same room, so this became hassle free. The manageress even went above and beyond to put right my stupidity and put together a fan, even though it was my fault the air con was on the heating section! This was soon rectified and my red face soon cooled! All the staff from the manageress, rececptionists, breakfast staff, front of house and chefs to the housekeeping couldn't make our stay any better. We would recommend to stay at this Premier Inn and we will be coming back when we are next in Middlesbrough visiting family again.
