This Premier Inn is really convenient for the Harrogate convention centre being only a short walk away.
The staff were helpful and polite.
I had a premier plus room which had a lovely view and was very comfortable. It is a nice touch to have bottled water in the fridge on arrival.
I would definitely stay here again if I was attending an event at the conference centre.

Arrived paying extra for10am access. Not a twin room as requested, in a dark dingy hotel location, car park ramp outside window. Had to tell Manager it wasn't as booked. He said he'd missed the twin booking, and this room was to meet the early access. Hardly believable. The 3rd floor room originally designated (?) wouldn't be ready til 3pm. So we had to leave luggage and wander about town until 3pm. Then when in room, found out the hotel restaurant wasn't open, so had to book restaurant in town. Totally exhausted by bedtime. Ruined start to 3 night stay. Breakfast okay but cooked food could have been more hot. Staff polite. Decor shabby. Wouldn't recommend based on our experience.

Easily the worst Premier Inn we’ve ever stayed at. When we first checked in, the room we were given had not been cleaned, the beds had not even been made. We told reception who said they’d get us another room. After a 20 minute wait, we were given another room. The beds had at least been made in this one but it still wasn’t clean. Peeling paint, a mouldy bathroom and dusty surfaces all round. Very disappointing. Such a shame as it’s in a great location within Harrogate and Premier Inns are usually very good, for budget hotels. The staff were polite and helpful but not much they can do about how run down this place seems to be

Just another poor stay at a PI, this time in a Premier Plus room, on arrival, staff member serving customer, so went to self check in, went through the process, no key cards to activate key, as another guest found out using the 2nd unit. On arrival at room, no towels???, but a spare body wash, which cleaning staff hadn't changed. hand basin tap, was loose and you couldn't control it very well. Then noticed, that maintenance had move air vent and let it off??? I had to pay for this pleasure, what is going on with PI's??????? parking secure, location very good for town. Also booked the hotel, then when arriving received an email to say, no meals here etc breakfast, not an issue as I never eat food at a PI, but some might.

I booked this hotel without reading the reviews so when I did read them I was a little anxious.we parked in the convention centre car park 2 which cost £40 for 72 hours .reception area was bright and clean and although you have self check in ,a friendly member of staff checked us in and helped us with directions to various attractions .
We booked a premier plus room .the room was bright and very clean with a lovely view overlooking the beautiful majestic hotel and gardens .the bathroom was very clean with hand wash and shower gel and towels were soft and fluffy .the bed was super comfy and the air con was welcome during the recent heat wave.
The room fridge was very tiny but better than not having one .
The Turkish baths and bettys tea room are close by ,just a few minutes walk
