Stayed here all last week for work.
It’s a bit sad how Premier Inn has cut the quality of service to save money.
My room (323) was clean, quiet and comfortable, but the bathroom had evidence of mould in the corner of the ceiling and the shower curtain rail wasn’t fixed to the wall properly.
The soap bottle pump didn’t fit in the dispenser and was a pain to get soap out of and toilet tissue was almost nonexistent.
There was also no complimentary coffee in the room.
Food and drink-wise, the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
My only criticism in the bar, was that there was no draught beer.
Choices were limited to 1 type of bottled ale and canned Guinness.
There was however umpteen options of lager. Not for me I’m afraid.
Parking is a bit of a pain. The only option is to pay the extortionate cost of the nearby multi-story (£20 for overnight), then walk up and down the extremely steep driveway to the hotel. The unfit or elderly should take note.
Premier Inn used to be the go to places for our company to use for working off site, but other options will be looked at in future.

Stay away from this ‘hotel’ which is unsafe, dirty and dangerous. I don’t recommend you stay here. They’ve charged us twice for a single room, I paid £453 and I can’t get my money back! I’ve been phoning their customer service to get the money back all week, waited on the phone for 50 minutes and I still don’t have my money back!
Fraudsters!

My second time at this premier inn. Standard air conditioned rooms with comfy beds always guaranteed. Easy to walk into town.

We had an extremely disappointing stay at this Premier Inn. We were moved between three different rooms, and every one had serious issues.
The first room was dirty, the beds were filthy, and the toilet seat was hanging off. My two-year-old daughter was desperate to use the toilet and, when she sat down, the toilet seat came away, causing her to fall onto the floor. This was a serious health and safety issue and incredibly upsetting.
We were then moved to a second room, which had one double bed and one single bed with no bedding, despite our booking being for two adults and two young children. There was also a clothing tag still stuck to the wall, making it obvious the room hadn’t been properly checked.
The third room smelled strongly of urine, had marks all over the bathroom walls, and the glass cups were filthy and covered in marks. By the time we’d been moved from room to room, we had missed our 5pm dinner reservation and a large part of our evening had been spent dealing with issues that should never have happened.
Every issue was reported to reception during our stay, but despite everything we experienced, not once did anyone apologise. I have photographs of all the issues we encountered.
I’ve always trusted Premier Inn because of its reputation, but this stay fell far below the standards I expected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the cleanliness of the rooms and the way guests are treated when things go wrong.
