  I had a very bad experience with Premier Inn Nottingham City Centre (Goldsmith Street). I accidentally booked the room for the wrong date and cancelled the booking. When I spoke to a member of staff, I was clearly told that my payment would be returned within three working days. I was also given a cancellation receipt, so I have proof that the booking was cancelled. However, the three working days have passed and I still have not received my money. I have contacted the hotel about the refund, but I feel that I am being ignored and that nobody is taking responsibility for resolving the issue. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. If a member of staff tells a customer that their money will be refunded within three working days, I expect the hotel to follow through with what was promised. I have the cancellation receipt and evidence of what happened. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with the way this hotel has handled my money and my complaint. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. Before booking, I strongly recommend checking the cancellation and refund conditions carefully and keeping all receipts and correspondence. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience

  It's a premier inn, you know what you are going to get. The place could do with some paint etc however I have no complaints.

  As a frequent business traveler who stays in Premier Inns weekly, this location easily takes the title for the worst in the country. The tragic experience started at check-in with a £25-per-night parking fee—and that was allegedly the "discounted" rate. When checking in, I requested a 18:00 slot for my pre-booked Meal Deal. A miserable receptionist informed me they were fully booked, assigning me 18:15 instead. I arrived at 18:10 expecting a packed dining room, only to find it completely empty. After giving my room number, I was told to sit anywhere and that a server would take my order. Over 20 minutes passed without a single member of staff even acknowledging my existence, forcing me to leave and find dinner elsewhere. Breakfast was equally disastrous: the eggs were as hard as bricks, there was no bread or toast available, and the juice station was bizarrely set up away from the main breakfast area. Throughout it all, the staff offered zero guidance and showed a total lack of care. A complete failure from start to finish. Avoid this location.

  Standard Premier Inn. Few staff covering multiple jobs. Rooms at the back of the hotel suffered with very loud noise from equipment, especially on lower floors and with windows open due to outside temperature. Bring ear plugs.
