I recently stayed at a Premier Inn in Nottingham, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
I booked a standard double room but was given an accessible room instead, which wasn’t the main issue. The real problem was the condition of the room. It didn’t feel properly cleaned, the bed wasn’t well made, and the bathroom was in a poor state. There was visible grime on the accessible chair, which was quite off-putting, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations.
The bathroom drainage was also a major issue. After every shower, water would spread across the floor, making it difficult and uncomfortable to use. Given the condition of the bathroom, I didn’t feel comfortable using it at all.
I raised these concerns at reception and asked to be moved, but I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. I was only given extra towels to manage the water, which wasn’t a real solution.
To make things worse, I accidentally left behind my charger and slippers. I called the hotel the next day and was told I would receive a callback once housekeeping checked, but I never heard back. Multiple follow-up calls were also unanswered.
Overall, this was a very poor experience, especially in terms of cleanliness and customer service. Sadly, it has put me off staying at Premier Inn again.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that this is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I travelled across Asia in Year 2000!
The hotel is tired, the drain in the bathroom sink was clogged with black hair, the air flow and temperature was weak. It is a true "sticky carpet" hotel. I assume that the owners do not need to bother about the quality given that this is a University Town with lots of family members looking for places to stay - captive market.
The staff were bored and uninterested in communication.
When I booked the hotel the website informed me if a discount available for the local NCP car park. When I checked in and asked to validate the parking I was told that Prem Inn changed their contract with NCP in the past week and as such no discount.
I would nit recommend this hotel.

We stayed the night before our daughter's graduation and had a wonderful experience. We parked at Q-Park, which was only about a five-minute walk from the hotel and very easy to find.
We booked both an evening meal and breakfast, and both were excellent. The restaurant staff were exceptional, especially the lady serving breakfast, who kindly advised us where to buy flowers for the graduation. She was incredibly helpful and made our morning much easier.
The reception staff were also very polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a lovely, restful night's sleep. We would definitely recommend this Premier Inn for its excellent location, friendly staff, and overall great experience.

Stayed at the Nottingham Chapel Bar hotel and was disappointed overall with the stay. The carpets in our room looked dirty, one of the bath towels was dirty, the receptionist was disinterested and we were met coming out of the lift by a man without a shirt on. In addition we were told on departure they wouldn’t validate our parking for the reduced price as they had changed their preferred car park although the website still stated the NCP we parked in. I chased up with customer services but got nowhere. Not great, avoid.
