Disappointing stay in premier inn this time. Full car park due to refurbishment works. They gave me a stained towel and worst of all, the toilet is blocked and they have no maintenance staff on a Monday. Arrived this afternoon, reported it, returned in the evening and still not fixed. Have gone to Tescos and bought some Mr Muscle. It’s boiling and there’s no aircon. This experience is a disaster. Hopefully Premier Inn will shape up.
Update: they offered me £37 in compensation. Apparently they think that Section 49 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 doesn’t apply to them! So much for the Premier Inn’s Good Night Guarantee - Advertising Standards should know if this a fake proposal.

Premier Inn Wellingborough was all I could ask for. Spacious room, black out curtains, very comfy bed.. and a fan! Most important during this heat!!
I spent 2 evening in the bar/restaurant onsite. The staff Andreea, Kacper and Salfie were amazing. Really interesting people who give good chat and made me feel welcome!
A message to Adreea,
I genuinely wish you all the best. You never know… maybe our paths will cross again one day at 36,000 feet. 🤞🏼
Don’t ever loose that big smile of yours!!
Highly recommend this hotel, all the best 🙌🏼

Stayed here as a base for the Silverstone F1 weekend and overall it worked well for what we needed.
The hotel itself is typical Premier Inn standard – clean rooms, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a short stay. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
Location-wise, it’s ideal for Silverstone and makes getting to and from the circuit straightforward, especially if you’re driving. Parking on-site was easy and free, which was a big plus over the busy weekend.
The main downside was expected for an F1 weekend: early mornings and late returns made it feel a bit rushed, and the hotel can get busy with other motorsport guests.
Food options on-site were decent but nothing special, and it’s probably better to eat out or plan ahead during busy periods.
Overall, a solid, convenient hotel for Silverstone – does exactly what you need it to do without any surprises. Would stay again for the same purpose.
