  Stayed here for two nights with my son for a sporting competition at a local venue. Can't complain about the room, the beds were comfy, room spacious and clean, shower cubicle alright size with toilet that had separate door. Loved that the curtains covered the entire window wall to ensure no light came in. However, shame the corridor lights stayed on all night which shone through quite brightly. Breakfast was nice on the morning, if a little unorganised in layout and restocking of items. Staff overall friendly but if they'd gone any slower in serving anyone they'd have stopped! Location was fine to get where I needed to be. Don't know the area well to know if its a good location. There was an Asda garage next door with a greggs inside. Miller and Carter next to hotel (although didn't go). There are plenty of supermarkets a short drive from the hotel.

  Goated check in experience from Joe (who was training) and Matthew on 09/06/26. Both worked efficiently and were super lovely to chat to when completing the check-in process !

  Just checked in and the lovely lady on reception called Vicky managed to book me into an earlier than scheduled room after a date mix up on my behalf. Saved me waiting around in the reception area for hours.Very friendly, helpful,and professional. Its very much appreciated. Thank you. John

  Whilst not the best IHE I have stayed in, it is for service, the team are spot on, always with a smile, rough around the edges but overall OK. What made it for me was I had left something behind to which they sent back, so for mecthat gets Brownie points all day every day, Thank you IHE

  The room are comfortable but have really bad lighting. Toilet was almost impossible to flush. Reception staff was amazing. Housekeeping was awful. We stayed two nights. Did not have them clean the room the first night by our choice. Second night housekeeping came in threw the blanket on the bed barely. Did not carry out any of the dirty dishes. Only emptied the trash. Did not clean the toilet or wash out the dirty sink. Only replaced one towel out of 4. Breakfast the 2nd morning had barely any food out. No plates or flatware. Food was sparse. Everything was dirty. There was still 1.5 hours of breakfast left. Overall experience was not great.
