  Very Disappointing Experience I booked and paid for a double room for two nights, but upon arrival, I was given a single bed and told that no double rooms were available. When I complained, the staff were extremely rude and aggressive, without even offering an apology. Very poor customer service and completely unacceptable. I expected much better from Holiday Inn.

  Good and comfy hotel, but hostess(receptionist) that worked on 27.09.26 evening, and 28.09 morning, was exceptionally rude and impudent, verbally harassed us many times without a reason, refused with help to call a taxi for my father. Also she yawns very loudly, filling the entire room and scaring people off. That is the first experience in the UK like that. All these damages the hotel's reputation.

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Kettering today and I have to say, there was such a genuine set of staff working, (especially the tall young blonde lady) that checked us in on 30/01/26. Any issues were solved very quickly, e.g. when the room fuse went, it was switched back on and resolved quickly, even when they were multitasking between the desk and breakfast. The lady that checked us in was also there the following morning on 31/01/26. She helped me with a really unpleasant task to look for an important missing item, and I can’t really thank her enough for that. I could tell she was genuinely concerned and wanted to help me, she was very supportive. Everyone at the front desk was very lovely, but also clean rooms, free breakfast and everyone’s always happy to help with *anything*. 24/7 Asda around the corner, a Starbucks, Miller & Carter, Esso petrol station, so also very convenient. Lots of sit down areas and workspaces available in the main lobby, and you can buy snacks, hot food/ there is also a bar. Couldn’t recommend this branch any more, a great place to stay. Thank you so much to the team for your help with my lost item. Your willingness to help me made more of a difference than I could put into words.

  We had a ground floor room, myself, wife, daughter and German Shepherd. It was beautiful clean, quiet and had a great TV. The shower was a lovely pressure and the perfect temperature. The breakfast was really tasty and plentiful with fry-up on offer, muffins, croissants etc. some people I would say were a little to greedy which isn't that hotels fault, they did well to keep it stock up. Overall a great stay and would stay again !
