Rooms are outdated and not sit conditioned.
Poor sound proofing.
My room smelt of damp and was very unpleasant. I would not stay here or recommend to anyone.

Porscha was very helpful and polite working the bar. Overall excellent for a city break in Nottingham.

Not a shining example of customer service. So short staffed that they can't answer the reception phone. This led to a 20 minute check-in wait. Room ok but missing a second bath towel. (It did have a helpful sticker on it suggesting you reuse towels though!)
Breakfast great as usual. Comfy bed but had a thick winter duvet. 3 stars.

Ray, WOW! I’m assuming he was the duty manager. This guy provided such service. I think my room had been missed whilst morning cleaning was taking place and returned from work feeling somewhat underwhelmed by this. My room admittedly needed a good overall clean. I went downstairs to get some towels and mentioned this to Ray, he allowed me to have a free breakfast the next morning which was a real pick up. Thankful to him for going above and beyond for me. I work in Nottingham a couple days a week, so I need a hotel which will not fail me, I was certainly put off before mentioning - but Ray turned this around and I will certainly be back. Thank you Ray!!⭐️

1st the good news. Great, friendly, helpful staff, but if you are expecting a classic 'Lenny' inn think again. City centre location, ideal for the university. Accordingly the hotel is well worn and in desperate need of a revamp. If you need a plug by the bed then either bring an extension lead or book a disabled room. Also the bed is tiny! Where has my giant bed gone!
