A small market town on the A11, Thetford is very handy for Norwich and the East, and Premier Inn Hotel Thetford puts everything in easy reach. From Norman castles to Newmarket Racecourse, there's plenty to see nearby, and some key business venues too. The outdoor scenes for Dad's Army were filmed in Thetford, and the Dad's Army Museum is well worth a visit while you're here. Or if you want to see a chart-topper, there are some great gigs at High Lodge Forest nearby. After a fabulous day out, come back to the hotel for lovely food at our restaurant and a great night's sleep in a comfy bed.

- GSGill Syrett5 days ago3.0I spent two nights here with my brother in the next room. Although my bathroom was clean, it had a faint smell of wee. The extractor fan for the bathroom was so noisy I didn't want to put it on. Although my window could open, my room was just above the extractor fan for the kitchen, so was noisy. And the first night someone was standing just below my window smoking,which as the air vent at the top of the window was wedged open,meant my room then smelt of cigarettes. As this Premier Inn is used by workmen/builders, my brother said someone was knocking on the door opposite his room at 5am, and then the workmen were leaving up until 6am, banging doors. We were in rooms just above the reception area. The restaurant is run down. The staff were doing their best. But the overall experience at this Premier Inn wasn't good.
