The Cathedral Quarter was traditionally the home of Belfast's trade associations and warehouses, and still has some of the city's oldest buildings. But a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Belfast Cathedral Quarter puts some distinctly twenty-first century attractions on your doorstep. Come in August and hear some of the latest sounds and bands at the Belsonic Festival. Or December, for a Christmas market that pulls out all the stops. Or in September, for all the fun of over 250 events during Culture Night. Or visit any time of year for world class shopping and fascinating visitor attractions. Then come back to the hotel for mouth-watering food and a lovely comfy bed.

This was my first and probably last time ever staying in a premier inn. The first room has a stained duvet between the bed which was stained with either poo, sick or urine. The staff were very helpful and understanding and moved us to a new room but it is still unacceptable. The new room was much cleaner but it still had this very strong eggy smell that the whole hotel had very disgusting. Onto the breakfast which was frankly a disgrace considering we paid near to £50 for breakfast the first day the eggs felt like hard plastic there was no vegan or vegetarian products despite it being advertised on the website and even the menus at the breakfast. And when asked just met with a groan and a no. Halfway through the breakfast there was a power cut that meant that the coffee and hot food stopped and the staff member acted very poorly in these circumstances no alternative or time frame or even hint of understanding that it may be frustrating for the customers just ‘I can’t do anything’. The second breakfast we arrive and are seated and go up to get the hot food and there is none I speak to a staff member and she says there is none today. There was no warning for this in advance and no warning even when we sat down which is frankly appalling. If we knew this we simply wouldn’t have got the breakfast option. No offers to refund or anything disgusting. This stay deserves compensation for the awful stay but I know it won’t happen

Stayed last week for business, ideal location but that is about it.
I know we all have pressures in business, but feels like they are trying to run on a shoe string budget.
Check in was very unhelpful, restaurant closed every evening and 2 people, 1 waiter / 1 cook, can't call him a chef based on the food coming out, serving at breakfast.
Room wasn't cleaned all week, when I mentioned this I was told 'its now policy to ask for a clean'. Well if check-in had been carried out correctly maybe I would have known.

Comfortable and Convenient Base for Exploring Belfast
We stayed at the Premier Inn Belfast Cathedral Quarter for one night as part of a wider road trip around Ireland and found it an excellent base for exploring the city.
The hotel is very conveniently located for Belfast city centre and, during our visit, the Christmas Market at City Hall. There is no on-site parking, but several options are available within walking distance. We used the nearby Hill Street car park which, although looking a little unloved, was reasonably priced and our car was perfectly fine there for the duration of our stay.
Check-in was quick and efficient, with friendly and welcoming staff completing everything within a couple of minutes.
Our room was exactly what we've come to expect from Premier Inn: clean, comfortable and well presented. The bed was particularly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after a busy day exploring Belfast.
There are plenty of options for food and drink close to the hotel. We visited Pizza Punks just along the road and had a fantastic freshly made pizza – definitely worth trying if you're staying nearby.
We chose to head into the city for breakfast rather than eating at the hotel, although the breakfast we saw being served looked very good.
Check-out couldn't have been simpler – we dropped off the keycard and were quickly on our way to continue our road trip.
Overall, we'd happily recommend the Premier Inn Belfast Cathedral Quarter as a comfortable, convenient and well-located option for exploring Belfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will certainly consider booking here again when we return to the city.
