  Jen and her team really do everything in their power to make your visit here absolutely perfect. Susie, her lovely colleague, being a great example of her exuding an impressive manner of a 100% professional lady but always with a warm smile and a totally natural friendliness. Rooms are pristine and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming about the place. It’s without doubt, the best hotel for a trip to Northern Ireland. Top marks!

  We are long time fans of the Premier Inn and frequent guests at this one. The brand has only ever let us down once before and they refunded that stay. This is the first time Bangor has let us down. To be clear, the staff are always excellent. They multitask seemlessly between reception, bar and restaurant duties and almost always have a smile for the guest. I hope they are well treated and fairly paid. Our problem on this trip was the room. It was cold when we walked in and I immediately found the air con control was locked in "Central" mode which I take to mean, controlled by main office. I notified it to staff and was told it would be reset in 15 minutes. That didn't work. Same thing next night. Notified them again the next morning. Told maintenance would check our room whilst we were out. Returned that night to same situation. We ended up on our final night of 4 coming in and trying to heat the room with the hairdryer! Other things not working: bathroom fan, tv and hdmi port at tv. I also noted that the smoke alarm showed no power lights at all which is concerning. The hotel is only 7 years old and shouldn't be turning into a Travelodge just yet.

  I stay in Premier inn's across Northern Ireland once a month with my 2 young children, I must say this is my favourite!. staff are always friendly, the rooms and always clean and the breakfast is always well cooked with plenty of choice for my children and I. the hot chocolate and cookies was a lovely touch for my kids... we will be back again soon.
