  Short trip overnight to Norwich. Really close to the station. Rooms great staff Really friendly and helpful. We're able to leave our bags for the day.

  Had a good stay at Premier Inn in Norwich. The central location is really convenient, with plenty of restaurants, a cinema and other amenities nearby. There’s also a self-check-in option available. There’s plenty of parking, although it costs £11 per day, so worth factoring that into your stay. Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn offering, and the restaurant has plenty of space. It’s quite a large hotel with lots of rooms. The air conditioning in our room worked really well and kept it comfortable. Overall, a good experience and a handy base for exploring Norwich.

  This is no disrespect to the staff it is more because of the lack iff, last night I was in a Que for 15 mins at the door waiting to order my food, I take away as I don’t like to earning on my own, there are only 2 members of staff who have to work the reception and existing guests, the bar and restaurant. They are at opposite sides of the hotel. Staff were laid off when it changed from a Beefeater restaurant to in house, it was the same at breakfast this morning, 8 people queuing out the door waiting to come in, then there were 11 people in the queue at the coffee machine and they only have 1. This may work in other premier inns as the reception is visible or connected to the restaurant, but it doesn’t work here. The rooms are very dated with visible signs of damage and cold as they heating is set to cold only, I have asked twice in 3 days for a heating boost just to be ignored. Mornings are hell as there is a primary school who use the premier inns car park and block the exit, not good for someone like me who needs to book a taxi to get to work. You need to hire more staff for the site as the team you have run around like crazy and are obviously tired, please consider your staff as it appears there welfare is not a priority at the hotel.

  Nice clean room, good service, would benefit from electric sockets next to the bed, and clearer signs for entrance when coming from the railway station.

  On arrival we asked the receptionist when the hotel was getting closed down. "Soon I hope" was the response. If I had booked a day before Me and my Dad would have had a free breakfast. I mentioned it to the receptionist she replied "oh well, that's the way it goes". On the Saturday drinks were served in plastic containers unless you ordered food. The place was empty. What exactly were me and my 78 year old Dad, in the bar with 4 other elderly people going to do? I asked the bar staff why this was and she said because that's the way it is on Saturday's. Rooms are tired. No water in rooms. Loud air conditioning. The place is dead. The staff don't care as it's closing. All this for 2 nights at £145 each night. So just shy of £600 for 2 nights, with no breakfast, terrible service, and being treated like second class citizens. Wifi is dreadful. I gave it 2 stars as the beds are comfy and spacious, and it's a good location. Avoid at all costs.
