- RLRod LaverJun 14, 20265.0Used this hotel as base for a tourist visit Norwich. The location is perfect you can leave your car here and walk 5 minutes to the Park and Ride which for a low price fare takes you right into the city centre. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful

The staff at reception were friendly, but once we went into the corridor it felt very gloomy and dark, almost like a haunted hotel in some areas. The room was just okay — I have stayed in better Premier Inns. There was paint peeling off the walls, and the card slot was loose and very sensitive. At one point, while lying on the bed, the electricity even cut out. The bed was not very comfortable, but I was relieved it was only a one-night stay.

Not sure why, after having paid for my stay in advance, with the meal deal and parking and Internet, I had to ask at the Reception each day for the current daily pass code for the internet. The worst issue I had was with the shower, which was only an overhead one attached to the wall, it did not have one to hold so you can wash yourself ALL OVER, bit noisy, but VERY close to the airport.
