  Receptionist who answered the phone could do with a course in how to talk to customers, incredibly rude. I left feeling stupid and belittled for asking a very simple question, which when I rang the pleasure each a week earlier to ask the same thing they couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. Judging from the reviews it’s not the first time she’s been rude either.

  Cashless signs are just inside as you cue, no where outside or easy to find on website. Not even staff knew where they was. If cashless put it on there bloody site and on outside. Not hard. We put cash in bank at post office a few miles away, but once we did we didn't want to give the our hard earned money. Hard when you have two girls and toddler in the pram. It's legal tender, term is legal. Clear policies: Businesses should clearly display their accepted payment methods before you commit to a purchase. From bank of England.

  It was disproportionately expensive. Was not very wheelchair accessible with many places being narrow enough due to jutting out rocks that my chair got caught or snagged repeatedly or that people were not able to move around me at all. Some of the exhibits had stairs/steps and no alternatives. There were loads of interactive parts, which was great for the kids. Exit through the gift shop 🙄 Our tickets gave us unlimited returns till 4pm which was nice. They do offer a wheelchair upon request (they seem to only have 1 so do email or call in advance to reserve it) The petting area was closed due to the heat and they had staff watching the whole time, which is good to see them prioritising the animals. Be warned that multiple areas are very dark with no real way to avoid going through them so if you have sight issues you may want to have a sighted person to guide you through these areas. they are beautiful with bioluminecent creatures everywhere and blacklights to enhance the glow. We got our tickets in advance so entry was quicker for us. There was a small queue to physically get into the building though. Staff were helpful and polite.

  We came on recommendation of our daughter and son in law who have been to this sea life centre many times and think its amazing !!! I was very impressed with the ease of access for wheelchair users and the staff on the front counter were friendly and explained everything thoroughly.All the animals were well looked after and the variety was really interesting. We look forward to coming back again .

  We had a really great time here, it was really fascinating to see. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly. My only upset was the penguins, they just seemed so sad and just stared at the wall. It was an extremely hot day. They had shade and access to water, and im sure the staff look after them well, it was just sad to see. The gift shop was good, we didn’t buy anything but there was plenty there for children. They also had a restaurant/ cafe but we ate somewhere else, not because of the food etc it was just very busy!
