Premier inns are aways the go to because standards are high and the rooms are consistent and that from a hotel chain is always the best.
However my expectations have been exceeded. The girl on front desk straight away offered me help, she was super friendly and thoughtful and asked me if I needed things before I even thought I needed them. The lady in question was Sarah. She's brilliant really brightened my day and made a very transactional interaction memorable. Thank you Sarah for your lovely chat about Torchwood, you know who you are. Keep shining you little star.

Well situated in the city centre with nearby parking facilities. The room was good with very low noise levels. Good air conditioning. Helpful staff and what you would expect from a Premier Inn breakfast.

Once we found the hotel it was ok, due to our own satnav having a bit of a hissy fit lol, stopped annoucing when to go left, right or keep going straight on, we kept missing the turning for the road, in evening rush hour, spent an hour going round in circles, lol, we all enjoyed our 3 days in Newcastle

This is in an excellent location, built in the old coop building a stones throw from St James Park. The bed was comfortable but the room was messy and the bathroom dispensers were damaged and filthy.
The staff were there to help with booking in but keeping a low profile most of the time.
The girl at breakfast more interested in her phone than the customer.
