- CPCath PayneMay 29, 20265.0Finished my walk along Hadrians Wall path with a night here to recover. It is almost underneath the Tyne Bridge, and the restaurant has views of the River Tyne. Check in was busy, but luckily very efficient as I was exhausted! The hotel/room was exactly as you would expect for a Premier Inn, albeit this is one that is located inside an older building. As it is close to bars etc, and the windows are old, I recommend ear plugs if you are too tired to be joining in with the nightlife in Newcastle! Had a decent evening meal & breakfast, the staff were friendly & helpful.

The room looked newly refurbished. The hotels location is perfect for access to the quayside walk, bridges and city centre.
- DGD GMay 25, 20263.0Rooms are basic and there’s no aircon. The main light also didn’t work in the room. I’d say for the price paid it’s fine for a short stay. The location is good for the centre.
