Not so much a hotel review, but a staff review. On the night of Saturday 15th / Sunday morning 16th we had a medical emergency which required an ambulance and a visit to the hospital. Amongst other staff a special mention to Ben, and Claire who were unbelievably helpful, selfless and professional. A credit to the hotel and big thank you for their incredible kindness.

This is without doubt the poorest Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. The place is huge, and feels prefabricated, almost like a travel lodge. The room was very tired, the bed was a 4 drawer divan with the drawers removed, so not ideal. The room was very warm, with a window that opened about half an inch. My partner has heart issues, and a blue badge, but as usual, most of the disabled spaces were taken up by cars without badges. The staff member there on check in was ambivalent at best. It's in a great location, but we wouldn't stat again unless we had to.

Very toasty rooms, no air con and no fans.
All the staff are genuinely lovely though and, for the price, you can’t complain too much

First of all, we’ve stayed here before and at a different time of year. Stayed last night 9th July 2026, the room was ok. A little dated and not very well equipped which is not like a Premierinn. There was only one chair in the room apart from a desk chair which was not a chair for comfort.
The pillows on the bed were very flat and not their usual quality.
The most disappointing point of the stay was the temperature in the room, no air con in the room which I guess is more common than you would think but the room was sweltering. Unable to sleep properly made for a very restless night.
Breakfast although adequate was also not to the usual Premierinn standard and felt very cheap because of the items used.
This was our first choice of hotel but it certainly won’t be in the future.

We had a lovely stay. Well.situated for visiting the area. Nice clean rooms. Great breakfasts. Plenty of parking. Lovely helpful staff and good inexpensive family pub right next door. Highly recommended
