  The beds are super comfortable. The staff are great. The breakfast is generous. It's well located for a budget stay in Newcastle and surrounding towns/villages and the metro station is right outside. Yes the decor isn't brand new, but everything works, is well maintained, well cleaned, and you can check in any time of day or night.

  Rooms are clean and bed is nice. You are close to the airport and there is the metro station right outside. But this hotel needs an update. Barely any outlets and when it’s warm it stays warm in the room because you can’t properly open the window. Was 30 degrees while the outside was much cooler. This is not optimal when you try to sleep before you have an early flight.

  The rooms have no USB ports and not enough device charging points... breakfast was not great today. Needed a restock of many items.

  Everything except maybe the temperature was great. There is no AC that’s true, but there are fans and it’s really not that difficult to manage. The water pressure is good and it easily gets as cold and as hot as one could need to bathe. The beds are very comfortable and it’s rather quiet as well. Everything was very clean, I had no problems with my allergies. Best for last - the staff! Very helpful and patient, great to talk to, kind in every situation. I’ve been helped with things I doubted would even be considered. Nothing was lacking to me, I had a blast and I got my rest. Also, from the room I was staying at, there was a view of a football pitch and watching them play was fun as well, much better than some of the games during the mundial actually.

  Our stay was very disappointing. First of all, the rooms and bathrooms are extremely outdated and worn out. It feels like the last renovation was done before the era of mobile phones, as there aren't even power outlets next to the bed. In the bathroom, the furniture is peeling apart because of the moisture, and there is visible mold. The complete lack of proper ventilation makes the rooms unbearably stuffy, while the windows can only be opened slightly, so there is almost no fresh air. The hotel restaurant was even worse. The tables were dirty and sticky, the service was slow and inattentive, and the food was of poor quality. When I asked for my dirty glass to be replaced with a clean one, I was simply given another equally dirty glass. This is definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend it.
