  Very nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The best aspect is the breakfast, not many places serve a full English with black pudding so that was a nice touch.

  The Crowne Plaza does a very nice Afternoon Tea, delicious and tailored to your dietary needs. We added Prosecco to ours and the service was brilliant. The food delicious and the surroundings calm and relaxing.

  I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The pictures made it look stunning and promising, but the reality was completely different. This was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed and i been places…at when it comes to food and drinks, yet the quality did not match the prices at all. The food arrived cold, tasteless, and we even had to send it back. For what they charge, the standards should be much higher. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel and travelled from Oxford was to relax and enjoy the spa facilities. However, when we arrived, we were told the spa area was already full and there was a waiting list. Nobody informed us about this in advance, which was extremely frustrating and ruined the experience for us. The staff were also unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping or caring about guests’ concerns. Overall, the hotel looked much better in the photos than in reality, and unfortunately the experience did not justify the high prices at all.

  I got a voucher to book afternoon tea and after ringing for near a week to try and book it wouldn’t work and when finally got through was told was fully booked. I then rang too book (a couple days later) for the week after the date i wanted and on the off chance i asked if they had the date i originally wanted available and they said yes so the woman who had dealt with me previously had lied to me. Anyways we go to the afternoon tea, food was beautiful and presentation was good but unfortunately the service was a massive let down for me, it took over 45 minutes to have anything in front of us and by the time the food got there the tea was cold. The Lady working that day too wasn’t the friendliest person either. There isn’t no where to park near the hotel either there’s a carpark situated around the corner but it was full so had to park a while away which was fine but a bit of a let down

  I think recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle and had an outstanding experience throughout our visit. The hotel was modern, immaculate, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard in every area. The staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming from arrival to departure, providing first-class customer service at all times. A particular highlight of our stay was the Club Lounge, where the service was truly excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and exclusive, with a fantastic selection of refreshments and attentive staff who ensured every guest felt valued and well looked after. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, offering everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hotel’s facilities and central location also made it an ideal choice for visiting Newcastle. Overall, the Crowne Plaza Newcastle exceeded expectations in every aspect. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.
