Check in was quick and easy with very pleasant staff. Ample sized rooms were given with everything clean and comfortable. Amenities were excellent including bar, spa and pool. This place exceeded our expectations & we plan to use it again when visiting in the area.
- ADAdam DunneMay 4, 20265.0I often stay here for work because its all round the best place I stay when in the area, even when covering south of the Tyne I prefer to stay here and go through the Tyne Tunnel. The staff are lovely, Mary, Alison and Gigi on reception are lovely and remember me every time I arrive. Jack who runs the bar area is great and gets my order spot on every time and quickly. I don,t think I have ever had to wait more then a few seconds before being served unlike other hotels in the area (inc Holiday Inn's) where you have to hunt down staff. Between a bar area with good seating, TV's to watch, a restaurant area, good range of food, a gym, pool, hot tub etc.... its not short of some resort hotels I have stayed in. if it has any downside its the lack of an outside seating area but that's me being really picky.
