We stayed in a Premier Plus room. Great size, nice decor, and a decent shower. A few extras, like a fridge and coffee machine. There is a Wetherspoons next door, a McDonald's across the road and an Asda Express with a petrol station.

In general the location was great for us as we were driving everywhere. They have a wetherspoons next door, asda express, garage & Mcds all in the vicinity. Beds were super comfortable. It was very hot and there was no air con but the fan already in the room was a godsend. Having the social room for breakfast was great. The breakfast was amazing. Chef was very polite and welcoming and the cooked food was delicious and fresh. However we arrived at 6.58am, to be told that breakfast wasn't ready. We were not bothered by this and asked if we could come in and sit down, to be told No! Sorry I cant allow you in before 7am! We are usually amongst the last for breakfast but we had to leave at 8am. We had to stand in the corridor till precisely 7am. We laughed but thought it was rather petty. Breakfast is buffet and self service so there was no issue when we got in at 7am! The hotel staff were all very friendly, however from 11pm (on a Sat night) we received knocks at the door asking us to be quiet. This happened 3 times till 12.30am. We had joined 2 friends (and 1 child, I may add) to catch up in their room. We had no music, no one was drunk or anywhere near. We were simply chatting and having a laugh. We were told that our noise could be heard from the breakfast room window and that there were workers in the hotel that needed their sleep. We ate and had a couple of drinks in the wetherspoons next door. It closed at 11pm, (despite Google saying its open till 12.30am). It felt more like a boarding school than a hotel unfortunately. I can understand people being rowdy but we are all professional people who were simply having a laugh past 11pm. We were in bed by 1am, to be woken up with a crowd of people singing and dancing and shouting in the corridors at 2.30am. It didnt phase us. Its a sat night and most people have booked the hotel so they can attend various social things. The icing on the cake was going to bed and finding the biggest cobweb i have ever seen next to the bedside unit. This is lack of basic housekeeping skills. (Pic attached) We would stay here again if we absolutely had to but sadly when we come away for a weekend we want to relax and have some fun. Not be told off ans embarrassed and made to feel like naughty children! There were numerous families over the weekend all there for the same child based event and we werent the only ones who witnessed the petty behaviours. It was actually embarrassing. Understandable if we had been having a mass party, loud music and shouting etc but we were simply 4 adults and 1 older child conversing and having a laugh till 12.50am on a Saturday night.
