  The hotel is in agreat location, with free parking on the quay next door. The town has a disk sytem whereby you put the disk on the car dash board showing the time you arrive and that normally gives you 2-3 hours free street parking. Ask for one at reception. We paid for a premier plus room on the third floor, but were a little dissapointed by the tired room. The shower was the usual over the bath variety and all that had changed from a regular room was that new taps and shower had been installed. Also the aircon was useless and weak, with the lowest setting being 19c. Also the windows are non-opening so no chance of fresh air. Our biggest problem was the noise. Premier Plus rooms are on the third floor and the family rooms are on the fourth. Consequently we were unable to sleep due to children running around day and night, like small elephants. We complained to Julia at reception and she informed us the family were leaving the next day. Great. Next day same problem and when we complained she informed us another family had moved in. At that point we decided to leave and cut our trip short. Julia advised us to complain to head office under their good night sleep guarantee. She also made a note on our account for the reason we left early. She was very helpful. Subsequently head office refunded two nights for the nights we couln't sleep, but not for the last night we had booked, but didn't use. So make sure your room is not on floor three or else you won't get any sleep. Oh and one elevator was out of order the whole time we were there.

  Perfectly located for access to the historic battements, Bridge Street shops, & Granary gallery and café. Clean rooms, lovely staff.

  I booked a twin room 6/8 weeks before but they had nothing for us. The lady on reception was very good. Apparently the booking person spelt my name and email wrong. One morning it was a different lady to seat us for breakfast, she couldn't find us on the system and was quite rude about it. The rest of the staff were lovely.

  Wanted to try the buffet breakfast and was amazing. Lovely everything from the reception,seating, breakfast area and food especially the chef who was friendly, pleasant and helpful throughout our experience. £10.99 for as much as you can eat and drink was a bargain. Highly recommend as a local, you don't have to be guest staying there as available to all. Once again I highly recommend 10/10.

  The rooms are very nice and modern. Plenty of sockets. Also, the TV just worked and had a good picture, no motion smoothing rubbish or anything.
