- KKKayOct 1, 20265.0Lovely hotel. Premier inn's are pretty much all the same but I think this one must have recently been renovated. It was lovely. The staff were friendly. The room was so cosy. Comfy bed and very clean room. Great location. Really easy to get uptown using the tram. It's a 5 minute walk to the tram stop and there's an Asda basically next door as well. We will definitely use this hotel for our next stay in Edinburgh!
- JFJamie FletcherSep 30, 20262.0There’s no air-con in the rooms and the windows only open millimetres for safety purposes, which is fair but means the place is a sauna. Standards of cleanliness are on a par with Premier Inn as a chain. Location is inconvenient for literally everything Edinburgh has to offer and is not priced relative to this. EDIT: What a non-response from the Premier Inn team; honestly, don't bother replying if that's the answer. Additionally cleaning the room needs to be manually requested, which I did, and Premier Inn's idea off cleaning the room is quickly making the bed and giving some towels. They didn't even empty the bin in the bathroom. All in all, I understand this is an inexpensive hotel and I don't expect it to be The Ritz but I do expect slightly more than lip-service to be paid especially when service is offered/manually requested. A poor show.
