  I stayed at the Premier Inn Ruislip with my friend for one night while on an overnight trip visiting family in the area. Upon checking in we were informed our room was on the 1st floor but there wasn't a lift. My friend has limited mobility so we asked for a ground floor room but were told there wasn't any other rooms made up. So my friend had to navigate the stairs in pain. We were in room 8. This room looked grubby and nothing like the photos on the website. We knew the restaurant was closed but this was an active building site which again isn't reflected in the photos on the website. We saw lone men who looked like they were living there, bringing pizzas etc from outside. As 2 women travelling on our own we didn't feel safe and to add to this there isn't a telephone in the rooms. So if you needed help of any kind you'd have to get the phone number and call reception on your mobile, this isn't ideal. There a a buzzing noise in the room and we didn't get to sleep until 4am only to be woken up at 7.10am and again at 8.20am but deliveries to the hotel. Upon check out we complained only to be told by the receptionist she didn't have any power to put our complaint right. She gave us the number of customer service we called them from the car. The guy took all the details of the complaint and said they would come back to us within 5 days. This is totally unacceptable as in the Premier Inn website they have a guaranteed good night's sleep policy which states if you haven't slept well they refund you without question. This didn't happen. The photos on the website are not a true representation of the hotel at all and it being run more like a hostel than a hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here and definitely not lone women
