  Fantastic location for the Opera House, just a very short walk. Can also easily walk to Victoria and Deansgate station. Hotel is what you'd expect. Comfy bed, tea and coffee, clean room and bathroom. Self check in but two staff ok hand for any problems (in my case, not paying attention to the room number allocated - would a print out be an idea?) There was a slight damp smell in the room and a dehumidifier at the bottom of the stairs so I'm guessing moisture is a problem but not something I noticed once in the room for a little while. It was surprisingly quiet and got a very good sleep

  The room was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed although the pillow was uncomfortable being too hard. Also the air conditioning wouldn't go lower than 19° I asked a member of staff who said that it wouldn't go any lower temperature so the room very hot. Great reasonable price breakfast well worth money.

  Nothing pleasant to a hotel smellingnof damp and mould. The room I was given was even worse, so I was moved into a 5th floor room for disabled, and it was better, but still, the bathroom smell was obvious, and I tried to close the door but it was broken. Other than tap water, there were no drinks in the room, and the bathroom had nothing either. If the bed wasn't good I'd of cancelled all together, certainly won't be staying again.

  We started off by going up the stairs which looked like they had a flood (we had to walk through a soaking carpet) and smelt really bad of mould .the room wasn't the cleanest. The bin was rusty , the shower was rusty the table had the coating ripped off ,the glass cups were filthy and one of the beds was Infront of a door which was not the greatest. The up side to the place is the staff were lovely but if you're planning of booking here ,please don't you will be disappointed.

  Room was clean and comfortable, enjoyed the AIR CON too. However, we had some sort of family room with a door that connected us to the next room. Though it was locked, we could hear the family next door (with their kids). So not thrilled about that. The location is right in the middle of the city, which means no free parking. The NCP parking lot near by cost us around £35 for 24 hours of parking. Sainsbury right across the street. Slug and Lettuce around the corner. If you have to stay in the centre, it's convenient. I can't really comment on service, as I had minimal interaction. There was a single member of staff by the front that we could speak to. They have check-in kiosks, and you can drop off your keys when you leave. Efficient, but it would be nice to have a good old-fashion front desk!
