  On first impressions this was definitely a luxury oasis, quietly tucked away from the main street in impressive architecture that was once operating as the Freetrade hall. Visited here for breakfast with a friend who was staying in the hotel. We opted for the breakfast buffet - £29 per person inclusive of hot drinks. There were options for vegetarians and vegans. Clearly labelled items along the buffet counters. Ranges of bread, eggs (scrambled or ordered to how you would prefer) and everything from full English breakfast items to pastries, cereals, granolas, toppings, and fruit. Freshly pressed wellness juices too and delicious tea and coffee (offering filter or made as you like). There was also a range of alternative milks including oat, soy, etc. Definitely would recommend to all. Service was incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. Good quality ingredients The rooms looked spacious, with lots of amenities that just elevate your stay and make it just that more comfortable. Room service looked extensive. The extra touches seemed ideal too - from the bathrobes to filtered Nordaq water, Nespresso pods and machine, ice bucket for the ice machine along the corridor should you require it. Beautiful looking spa and gym that we perused through prior to departing. Would definitely aim to stay here next time and return for more meals and amenities. You can see the attention to detail in every element of your experience at the Edwardian !

  Nothing about this hotel gave 5 stars. I’m honestly shocked how this hotel can be 5 stars. I would say it’s a 2 star hotel. Firstly there’s dust everywhere in the hotel and when we came to complain they just dismissed it and said they would speak with their cleaners but nothing got done. We didn’t get moved to any other rooms due to availability. Secondly Aleesha who’s on the desk is the rudest person we encountered. She spoke so rudely to all of us we are so disappointed. The Asian manager was so nice he helped us so much and also the red hair lady she was so sweet. But Aleesha was there rolling her eyes at us like she’s some boss when she was nothing. She told one of my friends to leave which resorted in her being taken of the desk. Honestly after this experience we would never go back. She deserves the sack for her customer service skills. If it wasn’t for her we would probably have given the hotel some slack.

  We had a fantastic stay at The Edwardian Manchester and were extremely impressed from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, the suites were lovely, spacious and very comfortable, and the beds were genuinely some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in — huge, luxurious and exactly what you want after a busy day in Manchester. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to Angel, who looked after us from the moment we checked in right through to checking out. She was exceptional — warm, professional, attentive and always happy to help. She is a real credit to The Edwardian Manchester and made an already excellent stay even better. We were very, very pleased with our experience and would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again. Highly recommended.

  My wife and I love the Edwardian Hotel in Manchester!! The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, amazing and such comfortable beds, it feels very homey! I especially loooved their Chromecast feature, I was able to watch shows on the room tv from my phone! We love the pool, and they have a really cute little gym with everything you need! The location is central, 10-min walk to the Picadilly train station, 15 to the coach station. Their buffet- breakfasts are delicious with a wide variety of choices. Salim was our waiter at breakfast, kind, professional, and friendly gentleman, we were well taken care of. Thank you Edwardian, we'll be back! 😊🙏🏻💜

  Was a lovely stay at The Edwardian. The staff were very friendly, attentive especially in the spa. The lady at the bar however didn't have the same top level service as her colleagues, she kind of let the team down. She was quite dismissive and unwilling to help when I was explaining my room order had now been moved to the eating area. Her colleague came out, was aware of the situation so solved the issue very quickly. The spa was lovely and clean. The gym was very well equipped for a hotel. The room was comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet was in the wet room part of the bathroom so if you had showered then wanted to use the toilet the floor would be wet under your feet. It was in a perfect location if you like to be amongst the hustle and bustle. Easy access to everything in the city. However it can be noisy at night if you're looking for a quieter get away. (Not inside the hotel, but at times I could here noise from the street). Overall a lovely stay however. I would definitely visit again.
