  The hotel is in the heart of Manchester, although the entrance is very unimpressive. The hotel were dealing with a water issue when we arrived and diverting other guests to nearby alternative hotels. The staff were friendly enough. The room was very tired, bathroom fan made a wracket and I didn't get my room cleaned when asked. Over a sub par hotel. The location is it's saving grace.

  One night stay over to celebrate Husbands birthday. On first entry the reception area felt dark. The staff super friendly. The ist floor corridors have seen better days and there was a dust smell like an unemptied hoover bag all the time. Our room was clean and the beds were super comfy. There were stains on the chair and carpet. No air con but a fan in the room. The fan in the bathroom was really noisy. The room was stuffy. The breakfast was fine and hot. The sausages tasted like they had more cereal filler than pork. Coffee could have been better quality. Overall not a bad one night. But it could definitely do with a refurb as the carpets were tired and marked.

  Avoid. It’s horrible - dirty and noisy. I stayed and had to swap rooms twice. Premier inn wouldn’t offer any form of refund because the hotel didn’t keep a record of any of this. I’ve been staying in Premier Inns for 15+ years for business. This one is grim.

  I had to spend a lot of time at the hotel, and spent a lot of money Service excellent most of the time, but they have the odd member of staff who made it less than ideal. Holly, Steven, Rosie, Sam at the bar, and the brilliant Gina, amongst others, made the stay a lot better than it should be staying in Manchester. Hotel is too warm, thank goodness we were furnished with an excellent fan. Room was good, and the staff did everything to make sure I had the best one, seeing as we stayed there on and off for weeks on end. The power in the shower was mediocre. Breakfast was okay if you dig on swine, if not, not great. Never understood the stupid company decision to not provide cheese at breakfast. The bar food is decent as a one-off but there are plenty of good places to eat within a short walk of the hotel. Location of the hotel was excellent. Forget parking without spending a fortune. Book early as it gets quite expensive when it starts to get booked up.

  Booked a couple of nights here recently. The Saturday night/Sunday was great. However the Sunday night/Monday was terrible. I went to bed fairly earlier as I had a very long motorcycle ride back to Devon the next day. I was awakened at 6am in the morning by loud banging from the street outside. Even with the widows closed it was impossible to sleep through. On mentioning this at reception they said that this was a known issue with some rooms but as the hotel was fully booked unfortunately some guests were put in rooms that were noisy. I was offered a free breakfast but I had already made plans to meet friends elsewhere later so that was no use. I suggested that that should warn guests put in these rooms in the future and offer free ear plugs which would be essential for anything resembling a good night's sleep. I was dissapounted by the attitude of the hotel and will not be staying there again. If you do... Take ear plugs! As suggested, I rang the customer relations team, wasted 30 minutes on the phone as they said the outside noise was outside of their control and so there was nothing they could do. Useless! Shouldn't be offering rooms that are affected by these sorts of issues. Avoid!
