Unfortunately, not a good experience. I checked in at around 2am and was told by the night staff member that the hotel had run out of room key cards, so I couldn’t be given one. I was shown to my room, but was then told that because I didn’t have a key card, I would also have no electricity, as the card was needed to activate the power.
When I questioned this, I was simply told there was nothing they could do. Eventually, after I suggested using an old/deactivated card to activate the electricity, I was given one and the power was restored. However, I still had no room key, meaning I couldn’t freely leave and return to my room if I needed to.
I understand that things can go wrong, but I was really disappointed by how the situation was handled, particularly being told there was “nothing they could do” rather than the staff member trying to find a solution.
I do want to give credit to the head housekeeper I spoke to the following morning, who was lovely, understanding and very helpful. She listened to what had happened and helped me with the process of making a complaint, which I really appreciated.
Overall, though, running out of room key cards and leaving a guest without electricity or a key is not what I would expect from Premier Inn, and I hope this is addressed so it doesn’t happen to other guests.

Fairly easy to find. But I won't be returning. I have travelled around the world and have been to so many premier inns in the UK. But this was the worst. On arrival car park was shabby, their was glass around the car park.( probably from broken into cars). Parking fee was expensive. Signs in lobby to remove luggage from car didnt give you confidence. As it was a base before flying out it didn't matter there was only 2 towels and 2 mugs for 3 people! Waited for over an hour to be delivered to room. Why reception just cant have a supply near them i dont know. The air conditioning in the room was rubbish. The bed was comfortable but I won't be returning if in the area. A very disappointed premier inn customer of many years.

The hotel itself was fine. When we arrived there was a lot of smashed glass in the carpark. We had an early flight and went to sleep at around 10pm. I was woken up at 10:30 to a noise outside, as I opened my curtains to check what was going on, there were men in balaclavas breaking into a van. I would avoid staying here. There is no security in the carpark considering the hotel are aware of the issues and have signs up. I would avoid staying here.
We arrived around midnight having been told we had to pay for our parking but the machine, however it wasn't working. But that got sorted.
It was supposed to be set as a twin but was a double , but had a bed settee which we made up. Rooms now very sparse no dressing table but plugs where it was.
Forget the breakfast it was appalling. There was only 4 tables in use when we ate.
No yogurts and non available. The fruit was dry on the top. The eggs had sat so long they could have bounced. Now using cheap sausages and beans. They came out with more sausages and put those on top of those out already. The bread tasted older. The only milk was whatever and oat. It's the worst breakfast I have ever had in a premier. I have used the chain all over the country, I would stay but never eat there again.
Be aware there are a lot of car break ins. Saw numerous places where windows had been broken. Broken glass has just been left. Be aware so you don't get a puncture!!

The halls were dirty never vacuumed, the sticky drink residue on the counters in the room was disgusting. Drinks spillage on lobby floor as well as elevators. Windows were dirty hand prints everywhere none of it cleaned over 3 day stay .I like to think the sheets were clean but I am unsure as the dust and dirt everywhere else wasnt. We asked for help and werent helped. A night staff promised it would be dealt with the next day and it wasnt. He tried to find us another room but it had no power and was dirtier than the first room . We spent 3 days with no other choice, all was booked everywhere else . And we were 1000s of miles from home.
