  Friendly staff & great variety of choice for breakfast. However, our carpet in the room was not cleaned. I nearly ended up with someone's old gel fingernails in my foot. There was also dried food on the carpet too and one towel had urine on it, which was put in between clean towels? We were not impressed, especially with the lack of hygiene.

  Disappointing. The room was incredibly hot. Each night the room reached over 30 degrees. I raised with reception on my first day and was told that it was being worked on and should be rectified by the end of the week (after I left!). Later, I was told by another member of staff that this was not true and that the ACV could not cope with the heat. Ice was not available at the bar/restaurant area which meant there was little hope of cooling down with a drink as the 'cold drinks' served at reception were cool, but not cold. Front desk were polite but aside from the GM, lacked any authority to give definitive answers about anything (this includes the Duty Manager who's answer to most things I raised was that it was 'above his paygrade'. I was offered a room change to the ground floor, however I had already unpacked and set up my room for a 1-week stay after a very tiring journey and to move would have been an inconvenience. WiFi was not fit for purpose in the rooms. B&B Hotels promise 'high speed connectivity' at their hotels. He hotel manager admitted that they cannot provide this as no fibre-optic cable internet is available at this hotel UFN. In the room I could get between 5 and 16 Mbps. This is insufficient for a simple video call and definitely not usable for a team meeting. I had to leave my room and work in reception, which is difficult as my work involves confidential matters and I need to be in a secure private space (I work in law). After I complained, I was permitted to use the 'meeting room' on the ground floor to make a few calls. As a courtesy, the Manager kindly allowed me a refund on a semi-flexible booking as I left early. Until now I have been an elite card holder with Accor and often use their Ibis and Styles products which I think are similar to most B&B Hotels I have used... I was considering moving all company travel to B&B Hotels, however this experience has made me question whether I should stick with Accor.

  Parking cost of £15 per might is the biggest scam of all my years of travelling! Rooms are clean and spacious. Boiling water jug seems to have not been cleaned ever since new. Staff is welcoming, helpful and pleasant.
