  Staff rarely available. Check in is supposedly automated at a do it yourself kiosk, but it’s baffling and useless. Front desk services are the heart of a hotel. This hotel in trying to save money with this “check in” at a kiosk in the lobby is heartless. That being said, when I did have access to staff, they were very friendly and helpful and kind, but so many people waiting for their help! Rooms were clean but spartan. You are paying for hotel’s great location and that’s all you get. We’ll not be back.

  We were very pleased with our 6-night stay here! We had a "Premier Plus" room, and the size was more spacious than I had anticipated - a very pleasant and welcome surprise! For the 2 of us (adult couple) there was more than enough sufficient space in the room for us not to feel like we were stepping over each other during our stay. The water pressure in the shower, as well as the hot water, was excellent! While the decor is basic and no-frills at best, the bed was comfortable, we could adjust the room temperature to our liking, and we had no complaints. I wasn't expecting anything special or fancy in terms of design or decor, so the no-frills aspect of the public spaces and the room didn't phase me. Wi-fi was strong and stable. I wished there was a safe in the room, but other than that, everything we needed for our stay was available. At first I didn't like that the hair dryer/vanity mirror was outside of the bathroom, but then I realized how useful that was in terms of the getting-ready efficiency! The location is EXCELLENT. I repeat, EXCELLENT. We walked almost everywhere and where we didn't walk, tube stations were so close by! I had spent many months trying to find a hotel room that wasn't outrageously priced while being well-located, and this absolutely fit the bill. Our room rate had breakfast included and it was substantial for a hotel breakfast for sure - hot and cold items. We got a little bored of it after that many days, but it was great to have it every morning to get us going! There was a coffee maker in our room, but we didn't use it. We did use the mini-fridge in our room to keep beverages cold. Staff were very pleasant and friendly whenever we encountered them. If we wanted service in our room (ie: clean towels) we would just tell them at the front desk when we left for our day's activities. Would stay there again on another trip. Hotel rooms are pricey in London and this proved to be really good value for us. I knocked off a star because there was no guest laundry, but we did use a laundry service called "Laundry Heap" which did work out well.

  The rooms are definitely in need of some updating. My window is stuck open. You have to check in through a kiosk in the lobby and the one front desk attendant is desperately trying to help all the people having trouble with the kiosks. The location is good, but it definitely seems like they've decided to go with limited staff (who are great and doing their best) and rely on kiosks, AI customer service and cutting corners wherever possible.

  Great location, but disappointing for the price Solid hotel overall, but for what it costs, we expected more. The corridors and doors feel rather clinical, almost like a prison. We booked a room for two, yet it was very small, with no proper shelf or wardrobe, and only one set of towels. Getting a second duvet took three requests over several hours, which was frustrating. The free Wi-Fi is extremely slow (around 1 Mbit), so if you want to use the internet in your room, you have to buy the "Ultimate Wi-Fi" voucher (20 to 25 Mbit) for £6 per day. On the plus side, breakfast is decent (though it's questionable whether it's worth the price) and the location is excellent.

  I'd say this is London's version of a Motel 6. I have been in far nicer 3-star hotels. Our room was tiny with a queen bed and not room for much else. The old carpet needs to be replaced and room could use a refresh. There are zero amenities - no safe/no hairdryer/no shampoo or soap although towels were provided. A couple of our outlets didn't work. There was a dispenser for water in the lobby that was empty the entire time. A vending machine which didn't work. That being said it was an excellent location and we felt safe being there.
