  **❗️❗️ AVOID AT ALL COSTS** Even one star is too generous... this is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Despite booking well in advance, we were dumped into a basement accessible room on the day of arrival. The layout is completely unsuitable for general use. The washbasin is tiny and far too low, the shower area floods incredibly easily, the built-in shower seat makes the space ridiculously cramped, and having a red emergency pull-cord dangling right next to the bed is just unsettling. What’s far worse is that early the next morning, there were continuous, violent banging noises against our door. It was absolutely terrifying and utterly ruined our sleep. Shortly after, a member of staff forced the door wide open and barged straight in *without knocking at all*, as if they had absolutely no clue the room was occupied. Unbelievable. The hygiene standards are equally concerning. I don't even suffer from allergies, yet I felt itchy all over whilst trying to sleep. I felt exceedingly unwell after checking out and was actually diagnosed with a Bartholin's cyst the following day. Since checking out on 21 September, it has been nearly a month, and both the hotel management and IHG Corporate have completely ignored my complaints with a wall of silence. Bitterly disappointed. I suppose this is the appalling attitude you can expect from such a massive corporate group.😀 ❗️❗️避雷 給一顆星都嫌多⋯這輩子住過最糟糕的飯店 老早就訂房了結果當天被安排到在地下室的無障礙設施房，房內佈局完全不適合一般人使用，洗手槽又小又矮、淋浴間極度容易淹水而且輔助椅使得空間變得很狹小、床旁邊的紅繩也讓人感到很不舒服。 更可怕的是隔天一大早一直有門被大力撞擊的聲音真的超可怕完全沒辦法好好睡覺。過一陣子後有一個員工在完全沒敲門的情況下直接大力把門打開，好像完全不知道這間房有住人一樣。== 衛生問題也很令人堪憂⋯當天退房後我就很不舒服，隔天確診了巴氏腺囊腫，當天睡覺的時候也一直覺得皮膚很癢，我甚至是沒有過敏問題的人。 從9/21退房到現在將近一個月飯店跟IHG總部一直冷處理，超級失望。原來這就是大集團處理事情的態度。

  Clean room, although a bit small, and friendly staff. However, the location was disappointing. It didn’t feel like Marylebone, and we felt unsafe walking around at night after being followed by a stranger one evening. The lobby restaurant was also often crowded with people having loud, disruptive parties. For this budget, you can find hotels in much better and safer areas of London.

  Arrived within an hr of booking 1 room from a choice of 2 rooms available. On arrival We were Told we couldn’t see the room before checking in. Mysteriously the room we had booked turned into a room without windows. So be careful and read ALL text because just because you don’t choose the room without windows doesn’t mean you won’t be given it… the hotel has inserted some clever text to try to sell the same room under different headings (it seems). Receptionist came across quite suspect (very hot under the collar) as if he’d done this rodeo a few times and expected a confrontation. We cut our loses and went to novotel instead (which was walking distance to paddington anyway)…IHG support where good listeners but resolved nothing. The hotel refused to refund pointing to the small text in the booking confirmation.( maybe put this beautiful text honestly with the actual room being booked instead) Honestly…. if the receptionist hadn’t had a terrible manner we would have taken the room offered since we had an early flight the next morning.

  For anyone looking for a great value in a hotel in London, the voco fits the bill. The rooms are bright and clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower, and it is located close to Edgeware road for a 20-30 minute walk to the shopping streets and Piccadilly Circus. It is also close to Paddington Station for a quick and convenient trip to Heathrow. The staff is super friendly, particularly Rakesh who even helped me charge my phone after I checked out. Highly recommend!

  Spent 2 nights at Voco London Marylebone. Prior to London, we spent two weeks at various hotels in Germany. The staff were extremely courteous, smile and engaging unlike most German hotel staff. Our room was incredibly quiet and comfortable. The bed was perfect. We asked for replacement towels and by the time we went back to our room 10 minutes later, the towels had been replaced! The location proximity; tube and rail transport very convenient, We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to London.
