The hotel is in a good location and staff are great. We drove, so we were able to stop in front and offload out luggage before going to the carpark ( not to bad of a walk). The lobby/ bar is super well done and decorated. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had at a hotel during our 2 week trip. It is walkable to alot of spots, but also close and convenient to the tube. The room was nice, adequate, and ac worked. Was one of the smallest rooms we had but thats ok, it was done up nice.

I stayed 3 nights at Ruby Zoe Hotel near Notting Hill Gate Station. I had a clean and comfortable room facing the backyard which made it very quiet and perfect for a good night sleep. The location is perfect to visit the nearby Notting Hill and has quick access to the tube to get to Paddington Station or the city centre in less than 20 minutes. The hotel lobby is very inviting and stylish and the team very friendly and supportive. I can absolutely recommend and will come again for my next visit to London.
After staying at Ruby Lucy a year ago, this time I chose Ruby Zoe for its proximity to where I was meeting friends. Another stellar hotel experience! Big shoutout to Clyde, Raquel, Steph, and Alex for being friendly, fun to chat with, great tellers of bad dad jokes, and good at their jobs. For a contactless check in and checkout hotel, both Ruby Zoe and Ruby Lucy have engaging staff who delight in interacting with guests. The staff I’ve met make a great team. They’re a big reason I booked here.
Like Ruby Lucy, my room was comfie, all the necessities supplied and/or available. For a busy street, my room was remarkably quiet.
Love their buffet breakfast as it has many choices. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, quality bread, peanut butter AND Marmite (inside joke with a Welsh friend), real barista coffees, juice, porridge, typical English breakfast of eggs, bacon, etc.
Wonderful gathering spaces on ground floor along with a bar. Piano. Another guest was playing last night and it was a treat. Tonight we’re all watching France play Senegal.
Area feels very safe. Was out late last night and felt fine walking back from dinner.
Lots of food shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. Ditto for the Tube. Easy to Tube all over or walk.
I love this hotel in Notting Hill. We often pop in for a coffee. but have not stayed overnight as we are neighbours.
It is such a calm and harmonious place to be. The music is great and very well chosen. We read the papers and books. It is good to have a place to relax especially if the weather is a bit cold. There is good free wifi as well.
The staff are always so pleasant to us - Csaba, Carolina, Julia and Carlos are always happy to see us and serve us. The hotel is a great asset to our neighbourhood!
Thank you

The room was ok and the staff were friendly but there were several issues with the hotel.
There was a continuous loud noise outside the rooms on floors 1 & 5. This happened a few times between around 11pm and 1am and would last for 5-10 minutes then stop. The reception was full of people complaining but the staff were unable to book people into different rooms because their booking system was down. This happened two nights in a row. The engineer fixed it after the first night but it happened again on the second night.
My room was 125 and it had the sink in the room which made noise at random times which woke me up. The glug glug drain noise was very loud but I only managed to capture the end of the noise in the video when it was quieter. I reported it after the first night and when I asked if it was fixed the receptionist could only say that the engineer had been and dealt with all the issues. The issue remained for the rest of the stay and woke me up around 5am, 6am, 7am each morning.
Don't stay in this hotel if you want a decent night's sleep.
Other issues were the lack of tea/coffee in the room, replaced by a galley area on each floor which had tea bags and coffee bags. The boiling water was from a tap which was not hot enough on floor 1 so I could only have warm coffee (you can put your finger in the water it was cool enough). No spoons, just small wooden sticks.
The only chair in the room was a wooden one, uncomfortable if you are sat working for a while.
The breakfast was disappointing with the hot options being chopped up sausages and pre-made omelettes alternating with boiled eggs and quiche on the other day. Plenty of cold options if you like hummus, guacamole, sliced turkey, lots of cheeses, salad etc. Plus nice bread and croissants. You are offered a free drink if you don't want your room cleaned every day but note that the bar area closes at midnight and you have to take your drinks to your room to finish them. The staff were friendly but it felt like they couldn't do much to help resolve issues. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.
