I had a great week at the Ruby Stella. The room was simple but clean and included everything I needed for a great stay.
The staff was attentive and friendly. Brenda, Mattia, Giuseppe and Alina went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
The location was quiet and in a safe neighborhood that felt central to everything. Would highly recommend to any other solo travelers staying in a London.
I spent the weekend at this hotel for my sister’s bachelorette party, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely well taken care of. The entire hotel team was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful — at every step, it felt like they were there for us and happy to assist with anything we needed. The hotel is also perfectly located. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. It is a wonderful place with an exceptional team. A special hello to Patryk, who we had the chance to chat with during our stay — such a friendly person and a great example of the lovely atmosphere created by the staff. :)

Had such a lovely time at Ruby Stella! The food was really good, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was how friendly and attentive everyone was.
Rey, Patryck, Brenda, Giulia and Maria were all absolutely lovely and made us feel really welcome throughout our visit. You could genuinely tell that the staff cared about giving people a good experience.
Definitely a place I’d happily come back to. Great food, good drinks and even better people! ❤️
We stayed in the Ruby Stella for three nights. The hotel is very nice and well located for a London visit - in terms of getting there from i.e. Heathrow as well as for sightseeing purposes.
The rooms are a little bit small, but clean and hence sufficient for a short visit. The service personnel is very friendly and caring. During our stay it was our daughter's 18th birthday and the crew at night as well as at the next morning happily helped us making the event special for her. So, as special thanks goes to Guiseppe, Alina, Adelina, Guilia and Patryk.
We would definitely go back to the Ruby Stella on our next trip to London.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed experience.
My first frustration came with the self check-in process. The hotel promotes the use of self-service kiosks, but unfortunately the system was unable to complete my check-in. Three members of staff then had to step in and spend time trying to resolve the issue. At that point, it seemed to defeat the purpose of having a self check-in system, as a standard check-in desk would likely have been quicker and more efficient.
Another disappointment was the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room. Instead, guests are required to use a communal area on each floor called "The Galley." While this might suit some travellers, it felt a little too student-accommodation-like for my taste and wasn't particularly convenient for a business traveller who may need to quickly prepare clothing before meetings.
Breakfast was also underwhelming. At first glance, the selection appeared extensive, but on closer inspection there were no hot meat options available. Much of the offering seemed to consist of bowls of ingredients and accompaniments such as nuts, hummus, and other cold items. While some guests may appreciate this style of breakfast, I found the choice somewhat limited and disappointing.
On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable and well maintained. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which was especially welcome during a very hot day in London. I also liked the décor and overall atmosphere of the communal spaces on the ground floor, which felt modern, stylish, and inviting.
Overall, while there were several aspects of the hotel that I enjoyed, particularly the comfort of the room and the design of the shared areas, the check-in process, business-travel amenities, and breakfast offering left room for improvement.
