I was a little sceptical about saying here as the reviews are very very mixed. But the bed was really comfy, & spacious. Not at all as hot as everyone was saying (maybe they stayed in the heatwave, what do you expect?).
For the price of £45 I think it’s an absolute steal. But I was told my staff prior that the parking is included in the £45, and if you stay without a car, you get £5 refunded… That’s not the case. You will be charged £5 extra if you have a car. So my total is £50. For that reason alone it loses a star.
Had a lovely sleep, you can’t hear any motorway traffic, only a train going past every 5 mins or so, but it isn’t loud at all, and I have the window open a little.

This hotel may look okay, but seriously needs renovations done at all levels. Main lobby may look okay and nice at the naked eye level, but look around harder and you will trash and spiders in every corner. We had multiple rooms booked and each had issues. One room didnt even have an operating handle or faucet in the shower, it shouldnt have been rented. Multiple spots in the room lacked cleanliness. Mold in the bathroom and ceilings. One plug in all of the rooms?? Beds had multiple stains and blood on it. For it being a Ramada and for that price you would think it would be a lot nicer.

One of the most basic hotels ive ever stayed in.....i genuinley felt like i had walked into migrant accomodation.......The chap at the reception area was the most miserable i have met on check-in to any hotel...one elevator wasnt working, the room windows arr sealed shut, the ac unit was extremely noisy, the shower temperature couldnt be adjusted, regardless of which way the makeshift knob was turned.
On the positive side, the bedding was fresh and clean, as was the towels. I wouldnt stay again

I stayed at the London North hotel and unfortunately had the worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel.
The room was boiling and there was no air conditioning. The fan provided in the room was not adequate for the heat. Throughout the night there was a strange clanging and engine noise, and from around 4am a hallway door banged loudly every time someone walked through it. Between the heat and the noise, my sleep was completely disturbed.
On top of this, the shower curtain and the shower itself were both grubby.
I do want to say that the welcome I received and the efforts of the staff were genuinely good, which is why I was so disappointed by the state of the room.
I asked them if they could look into these issues, particularly the noise and the cleanliness. I heard nothing.

This place is disgusting and the staff is rude. I arrived at 1am after a 2 hour ride only to be told they cancelled my reservation, even though I had a receipt showing I paid and a confirmation number, because they hadn't received payment from the third party I booked through. I asked what the possible solutions were and was told by the front desk, "I don't know, call who you booked through and ask them." I booked through AMEX so I gave them a call. They reached out to the hotel immediately to try to resolve it, only to be met with the same hostile attitude. AMEX told me the hotel was unwilling to work with them on a solution and then magically the front desk called me back up to inform me, "everything was fine." We were given a room on the 3rd floor. The whole place is in dire need of a deep cleaning at minimum but realistically, maintenance and updates. On top of there not being a/c (which isn't mentioned anywhere on their site), there are stains all throughout the hotel on the carpets and surfaces. Most surfaces in my room do not look like they've been cleaned and a total of 2 outlets in the entire room... one of which has to be dedicated to the fan unless you want your room over 25 degrees.
Edited: After multiple calls from Amex Travel, they agreed to refund me so that I would be able to book a stay elsewhere. I left August 11. It has now been over a week since I left. Not only have I yet to be refunded by Ramada but Amex Travel has reached out to them multiple times. Most of the time they can't even get anyone to pickup the phone and when they do get ahold of someone they're told the refund is waiting on "manager approval" and that they can't refund without that.
