- DFDenise FairweatherAug 15, 20265.0My Canadian bestie and I were visiting London to celebrate her birthday and to enjoy Borough Market. We couldn't have picked a better venue as a base. The location is spot on as its almost in the middle of the market. Its also really close to interesting places to walk to to visit like The Shard,Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral. Also it close to all off the fantastic food on offer in the market. It's situated close to the bank of the Thames which was great if you want to sit and have a meal and a drink after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are basic but clean and there's lifts for everyone whatever accessibility needs you have. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel but you would never know as it was so quiet. There was music and an ice cream van outside but you couldn't hear any of that. The staff were 1st class. The two guys on the front were so friendly and helpful! They answered our questions, had great conversations with us and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was welcoming and comfortable. They were amazing thank you. If you want an affordable base with great service from the staff in a popular area, I highly recommend staying here.

- PLParise LevesqueJul 28, 20265.0I can't give super high marks for the room. The rooms are simple and slightly dinghy, if I'm honest. However, the location and value for money is impossible to beat. If you want five stars than this is not your place but if what you're looking for is a comfortable place to sleep in the best location possible for sightseeing I would highly recommend you give this place a chance. St Paul's Catherdral, The Tate, Shakespeare's Globe, Tower Bridge... all walkable from the hotel. And the Borough Market is right on your doorstep, a foodies paradise. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how quiet we found sleeping at night. Our room was in the bridge over the entrance way to the hotel and we thought for sure we'd be up all night with the sound of revellers, but we didn't hear a peep.

Special mention to breakfast buffet very worth the value and excellent taste and service. Main chef is Bhanu who was very proactive in helping us, serving food making great food. Even made vegetable sausages etcc
