I stayed last night, and what makes this Premier Inn stand out is the wonderful staff there.
About 8pm my friend had a fall, right outside the the entrance. The two ladies ran out to help, as she had banged her head. Thankfully no lasting damage. But the speed they apperered was unbeliveable.
I understand that the hotel is very soon to close. So morale might be low. But i hope Premier Inn, try to save or relocate the staff. They are the glue.

Run down, dated, black mould around the windows 🫣 !!!
Bed was comfy, towels etc were clean. Not somewhere I'd return to. It's closing forever on Friday...... best news !!

We paid over £200 for this room! The room was actually disgusting. You think of premier inn, you think comfort and clean! This was far from that! Everywhere was mouldy, dusty and so dirty. Stains down the loo. Sink was blocked. Not worth the money at all.

Unfortunately our stay had a number of issues. We contacted guest relations twice (27th and 29th May) and no response.

Great location. Rooms and hallways stink of stale cigarettes and outside my room the ceiling tiles were hanging off and there were warning cones placed. The room needed a good clean, with previous occupants hairs found in the bathroom. For £200 a night I think the basic standards should be met at the very least!
