  This place is a dump! No A/C as others have mentioned and old dusty fans is all they provide. Staff so happily suggest opening a window which did little as the temp outside was hot. And we were subject to every constant street noise and emergency siren. Or, they would see if a room was available in the OTHER SIDE of the facility which had A/C. Of course, we would have to pay the difference in price. BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!!!! The room is filthy dusty and gross. They must think making the bad makes for a clean and tidy room. The bath tub drain was clogged and didn’t drain. The cold water in the shower didn’t work. SHAME SHAME SHAME on this place for the absolute bait and switch with no mention of the lack of A/C.

  Had an horrendous stay at this hotel for two nights in the height of the summer due to the air conditioner not working. Reported the problem at reception but was fobbed off with a pedestal fan that was totally inadequate. We were in London to watch Bruno Mars and the hotel ruined our experience. My husband and I used to use Premier Inn regularly but won’t be using them again based on this experience and the service received. I contacted customer service on my return home to make another complaint hoping for some sort of compensation but was again dismissed with lip service. Terrible experience.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. If you want a hotel room that feels like you are in the fiery pits of hell this is the place for you. There is apparently no air con at all in this hotel, which i found out after speaking to reception who couldn't offer any other cooler rooms as the hotel was "full". As for their slogan "you know what you're getting" i now realise that basically means the worst nights sleep of your life..... EDIT: would just like to add in the morning when ready to wash of the copious amount of sweat from trying to sleep in a torture chamber- the shower didn't work YAY

  Stayed here on 25/9/26 for 1 night as we needed somewhere last minute due to getting Eurostar next morning. We paid £200 for the night. Got there,checked in and made way up to room. Soon as I went up with my wife and 2 year old it felt extremely humid. Got to the room and it was even warmer . No AC was working with a fan left in the room. Went down to express dissatisfaction and make a.complaint hoping to get room with AC only to be told by girl working who was very polite that AC hadn't been working in whole building for few years. I was completely shocked hearing that. Premier inn is a huge franchise hotel and the hotel that we were in was prime London location next to st pancras and Euston.

  I should preface this review by saying I LOVE Premier Inn. In general, at a Premier Inn I find the bed comfortable, the room clean, air con, a good breakfast, and a kettle with decent tea and milk options, and great consistency between hotels. I tend to prefer it even to the posher hotels I sometimes stay in with work. So it's sad to report that this is the first Premier Inn hotel I have been disappointed by. On paper, all the basics seem to be there, but somehow all those aspects were disappointing on experiencing them. The room was clean and the bed fine, but the decor was really tired and the windows and bathroom were really quite grotty and in need of refreshing. The aircon was turned on but was an ancient system that clearly didn't work properly and the room was consequently far too hot (I was here in early autumn so goodness knows how hot these rooms would have been in summer). The give away on the aircon was that the room had a fan in it - why would you need a fan if the aircon was working? Even the breakfast was disappointing (the sausages somehow tasted like water). Really, the whole site needs closing down for a year so it can get a good refresh. This is the first Premier Inn I have stayed in that I will avoid in future, and as a big Premier Inn fanboy, that is a big disappointment. Let's hope this is the exception and not a sign of things to come at other Premier Inn hotels!
