Stayed here for one night as we were booked to go and see Mamma Mia The Party. The hotel actually has a direct link into the O2 which makes the walk shorter but also feels much safer when leaving late at night. Staff were all so friendly and the room was great, well stocked and efficient air con. Breakfast buffet had everything you could think of and then more. Fantastic views. Thank you for looking after us

If you are flying out of London City Airport (LCY) the next day, book this hotel! While the immediate Peninsula area does not possess the patina of the inner city, it has its positives. For us, it provided the exact quietude we required, leaving me wishing we had an extra day to simply wander the expansive surroundings. We arrived at the InterContinental London - The O2 at the tail end of a six-week march across the UK and Europe. We were entirely depleted, dragging our luggage and two children toward the finish line, desperate for a soft landing. It had been weeks of flinging our bags up and down walk-ups. At each landing, they seemed heavier than the last. The hotel delivered an immediate, restorative dose of luxury. A friendly welcome and assistance with baggage was worth its weight in gold. That is, about 50kg we had accumulated between the four of us by this stage. Moments later, the same deeply helpful porter hand-delivered packages we had forwarded in advance. He did not just bring boxes; he restored peace by reuniting a weary parent with a Kindle and a child with a crucial blue bunny toy. With basecamp established, we split up. My partner needed to cross town to pick up even more luggage stored with family. She was able to walk six minutes to the nearby pier and caught an Uber Boat for a trip to Putney along the Thames on a beautiful sunny day. I took charge of the little ones, and promptly ordered them room service. The girls dined their hearts out on a remarkably thoughtful kids' menu, culminating in a brilliant, modern Eton mess. Later, once they were sated, we burned off some energy at the indoor pool. Note: kid hours are restricted, but I can understand why. We were all reunited by evening and celebrated with… room service again. It was so nice we had it twice. We actually had the Eton mess thrice! See image. Refreshed, refilled, and reinvigorated in the morning, we walked out the lobby doors and reached the LCY terminal in twenty minutes flat. A flawless finish to a long journey. Thank you InterCon O2!

A decent, friendly hotel in a very convenient location for visiting the O2 (2 min walk from reception via walkway). Our Junior Suite was fine and everything worked. A decent size for London and clean but it should have been for almost £600 for one night. Nice Byredo products which was a surprise. A warm welcome from reception which was incredibly busy. Breakfast was a major disappointment, especially given some of the positive comments below! It was packed (rather chaotic) and the quality of the food on offer left a lot to be desired. The buffet area wasn't kept particularly clean (lots of tongs been double dipped/missing lots of food on surface & just left such as baked beans/scrambled egg). Baguette was stale. There was a decent fruit selection but a number of 'midgies' were hanging around! Lots of chefs behind (one on his phone!) the counter in the open kitchen producing vast quantities of food but all very average. Coffee very poor & inexcusable for a major hotel brand. Empty tables with lots of used plates and cutlery left for long periods off time. Lots of staff rushing around but a distinct lack of much-needed management! Pool was better than imagined. It was warm although it needed some maintenance (two large windows frosted to the outside were boarded up) such as some tiles needing to be fixed. Hairdryers in the mens changing room didn't work. A member of the management team and maintenance team were in the pool area discussing some issue but neither wore shoe coverings and this is a basic requirement around an indoor pool. And, they were available as other employees wore them! Would I stay here again? If we were seeing a concert at the O2 then yes I would as it's so convenient.

Hotel itself is very nice and I'm sure if you parked in the carpark you would have no issues. We parked on the O2 and it was a nightmare to find. When we did finally get in we were told there is a link corridor between the hotel and the O2 which would have been great to know beforehand and save 20 minutes wandering in the boiling heat. Check in wasn't super smooth as they had my name backwards not sure why that was such a big issue and once checked in and having a shower to cool off someone turned up to restock the minibar. Keeping in mind you can't check in until 3 and have to be out by 10 this should have been done prior to our arrival. All in all a lovely hotel in a great location but need to iron out a few issues.

Excellent stay at the InterContinental London - The O2 with very spacious, bright rooms and large floor-to-ceiling windows, which is a rare find for London. The views of the River Thames and the Canary Wharf city skyline are absolutely beautiful. The hotel is located a bit far from central London, but the location is highly convenient. It is a very short walk to the North Greenwich tube station, where the fast Jubilee line gets you right to the city center quickly. Best of all, the hotel is located right next to The O2 dome and has a private indoor walkway that takes you directly inside the venue. The O2 is a massive indoor entertainment district with endless things to do right on your doorstep. Inside, you will find the famous O2 Arena, the Indigo live music club, a huge multi-screen cinema, a bowling alley, indoor skydiving, and interactive games. The dome also houses a large outlet shopping center with numerous brand stores and many different restaurants and cafes. You can even book an outdoor climbing tour over the roof called Up at The O2. Beyond the dome, exploring the wider Greenwich area is incredibly easy and highly recommended. Right outside the hotel, you can take the scenic cable car across the river or hop on the river bus from North Greenwich Pier. A short ride takes you to historic Greenwich, where you can visit the vibrant Greenwich Market, relax in the massive Greenwich Park, stand on the Prime Meridian line at the Royal Observatory, or explore the historic Cutty Sark sailing ship and the National Maritime Museum. Back at the hotel, the morning breakfast buffet is outstanding. They offer a huge variety of hot traditional English breakfast items, fresh fruit, and pastries in a beautiful, clean dining area that directly overlooks the river. The reservation and check-in process was very smooth. Keep in mind that the hotel is cashless, so you will need a credit card for a damage deposit upon arrival. The property is also very family-friendly, offering a dedicated children's pool and free stays for children. It is a perfect choice if you want large rooms, stunning views, and a mix of world-class entertainment and historic sights nearby.
