  I have stayed here twice and every single time, I'm greeted by the kindest people. I'd like to specifically mention Rita - who made me feel not just like a normal guest but a good friend; and who has made this trip unforgettable. The rooms were clean, functional and modern. It had everything I needed for a weekend. The complimentary bottles of water are also much appreciated. The lobby is s great area for reading, having a coffee or tea, and unwinding. I'll recommend this to all my friends. :)

  The location is fantastic if you need to use the Eurostar the next day, which is just what we wanted it for! The room was clean, modern and compact - a typical Premier Inn Hub. However, what let this stay down for us was the other guests within the hotel. After an awful train journey up, we arrived at the hotel at about midnight and had to get some sleep before leaving again at around 7:00am. Throughout the night of our stay, several guests thought it would be really useful to have full blown conversations in the hallway outside the room doors. We had the Do Not Disturb light on but as these are on screens, it can be easily overlooked, especially when someone is deep in conversation at 2:15am about their recent gym wins!

  Stayed a few times over the last few weeks while travelling on Eurostar. Both check-ins were super smooth and very friendly. On our second visit Rita remembered us and upgraded our room which was a lovely treat after 12 hours of travelling. Rooms are getting a little tired now after heavy use but as clean and comfortable as ever.

  Happy to give this a 5/5 as the only downsides I can note are more difficult infrastructure issues that are not meaningfully solvable by hotel administration. Pros: awesome location. The place is suspiciously clean. The rooms were pristine, bedding was freshly laundered and crisp, no mold in the bathroom corners, no dust on the flat surfaces. The rooms have mini split for AC so my room could get to low temperatures FAST. Staff were awesome and accommodating. Water pressure was good. My shower was easy to dial in to a comfortable hot temperature whether it was 5am or 7:30am. The walls seem robust, I never heard a single thing in my room and I know the hotel was at capacity. Very quiet. Cons: I mean obviously the rooms are tiny. That's kind of the point. You're well aware of this when renting and the photos are realistic to show the scale of the rooms. I would say the practicality is built into the value proposition but I will say as a wider gym goer, it did present it's interesting logistical quirks lol. It would be tight with two people surely. Honestly it's worth it to upgrade to the larger room, which I did. Personal gripes (I would not retract points for these but may be of interest to other travelers or even staff/admin) The breakfast is only OK. I would work on standardized ways of cooking eggs as some days they were runny and some they were very very cooked. A cultural thing, but Americans will need to bring your own wash cloths lol. The two-in-one body wash and shampoo was ... Fine. If I had known that I would be brought my own. On the 4th floor the wifi is sparse. Maybe look into extensions there. And with traditional local time service, I had no service on the 4th floor. Lobby seemed ok. Wifi was lightning fast in lobby. Honestly it's not like there's room to work in your personal room so you'll be working in the lobby. And last thing, if you had boiled eggs it would be a game changer. They go fast at every hotel I stay at and I travel 2-3 weeks per month for work, for over a decade now. Huge upgrade over bulk cooked eggs. Hopefully this is useful or would be customers and staff. Enjoy the area! The pizza nextdoor is very good. Blank street coffee is the go to for a seriously good morning coffee.

  The room carpets need replacing with hard flooring, as it can’t be cleaned as well as the rest of the rooms can be. That’s the only down side of this hotel for me. Team are always super helpful at this HUB, it’s my go to hotel, even if I have to travel further for my meeting as the consistently great service from both the reception and bar team is what makes me a loyal customer here. I constantly recommend this place to family and work colleagues alike.
