  We stayed here for one night and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent, especially if you’re using Paddington Station, and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a fantastic waitress in the restaurant who was friendly, attentive, and made our meal very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the hotel itself let us down. Our shower door and shower tray were coated in soap scum, there were used tissues left on the bedroom ledges when we arrived, and the air conditioning continually displayed a fault and never cooled the room properly. Service at reception was only average. The staff were polite, but communication was sometimes difficult, which made check-in and asking questions less straightforward than it should have been. For the price we paid, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. With those issues addressed, this could be a very good hotel because the location is hard to beat, but in its current condition I don’t feel it offers good value.

  Ok so the rooms are not huge. The space you do get is well laid out easy to use and not cramped. Everything you need is there even some milk in the fridge. Temp was easy to control even on a very hot night and the bed was really comfy. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast at the restaurant was much better than I expected, with good quality ingredients and very good staff. Coffee was great. Overall a great stay.

  I can't believe the 5-star ratings of this hotel. London's really weird with businesses pushing everyone for 5-star reviews, I have to believe this is the case. Cost for accommodations in London is crazy ridiculous but I paid $500 USD for a "premium" room and the room was so tiny & dated, & the bathroom just miniscule. The shower door hadn't been cleaned in what looked like weeks - it was so cloudy with a film on it - with visible dirt on the shower door track & the shower door was so rickety. They didn't have an ice bucket or machine but had us ask for ice at the attached restaurant & we received half a takeaway coffee cup's worth. We had just come from Hotel Indigo in Bath where I paid $75 less a night for a room that was amazing and where the entire Paddington room would have fit in the bathroom. I booked this hotel because of the proximity to Paddington station but now I know that getting around London is so easy so I would have stayed elsewhere - anywhere else but this place. It ruined our last night in London.

  I'm so glad I chose this place. While the room is small (typical for London, totally expected) it's plenty for 1 person or a couple (as long as you don't both need to use a desk in the room at the same time) and well appointed. I really appreciated the mini fridge, proper air conditioning, blackout curtains, espresso machine, and spacious modern bathroom with nice touches like a heated towel rack, bath robe, slippers, and rain shower. In fact I think the shower is the biggest at any place I've stayed at in England. Wifi was not super fast but worked just fine and I used it a fair amount. I'm using it right now, in fact. Everything was very clean, I saw no sign of mold or dust at all - completely spotless. The staff were friendly, welcoming and and professional. The location is very convenient, one block from the station and surrounded by convenience shops, cafes, restaurants, and Hyde Park. You can practically stumble out of Paddington station and fall into bed. Spaking of which, the bed was SO comfortable. Better than my own bed at home I think. Soft & silkysheets and a pillowy topped mattress. The only trouble with this hotel is convincing yourself to get out of bed every morning.

  If London hotels were characters in a novel, Hotel Indigo Paddington would be the charming, well-dressed local who knows all the best shortcuts. We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it. This quaint and comfortable boutique hotel strikes the perfect balance between style and coziness, with all the reliability you’d expect from the IHG family. The location deserves its own round of applause. We took the Heathrow Express from the airport and were practically checking in before our jet lag had time to unpack. Being so close to Paddington Station made getting around London effortless. Hyde Park, Kensington, and plenty of great restaurants and neighborhoods were all within easy reach. What started as our first stay in the Paddington area quickly turned into a lesson in why more people should stay here. Convenient, charming, and surprisingly central to so much of what makes London special. We came as first-time Paddington guests and left wondering why we hadn’t stayed here sooner. We’d happily book Hotel Indigo Paddington again—and next time, we might just tell fewer people about it so it remains our little London secret.
