So I stayed for two nights with breakfast included. I have mixed reviews about the place. Amazing breakfast on the first morning, I was served straight away, I had the eggs florentine off the menu and a pot of tea. It was delicious!!!!! I thought it was soo good HOWEVER, on the next day. I was sent to a table by a stroppy lady who didnt seem to what to be there. I then had to wait 20 minutes to be served by the same lady. I ordered the egg royal and a pot of tea. When the food arrived (30 minutes later) I cut into the egg and the white of the egg was still wobbly and the yellow was over cooked. The pot of tea took over 35 minutes to arrive and when it did it was luke warm. Conclusion to staying at the hotel, the bedroom was very good. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked and clean. Once we had asked for the tv remote from the main reception the tv was great to use in the evening too. A few members of staff were lovely, lady at the front desk and one of the breakfast staff who asked us afterwards how our breakfast was. The first day was SO much better than the last day.

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo while traveling for work and their staff was so welcoming and helpful, I felt right at home. One of the highlights of this hotel is the breakfast that I added to my stay. During breakfast Lamxi provided world class service, being so kind and attentive, such a lovely start to the day! I definitely recommend staying here.

Great London hotel! Nice, clean and spacious rooms with good amenities (coffee, biscuits, robes etc). The king bed was big and comfy. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is convenient as well.

What could have been a great experience, was unfortunately marred by horrendous housekeeping. I want to shout out Dorina specifically who helped us handle some issues during our stay. She was completely professional and deserves all the praise. There was a few issues with this experience 1) even after we notified front desk of an accident that needed addressing with the bed, housekeeping did not at all address it. Instead, they just remade the bed. Completely unacceptable from a hygiene standards standpoint 2) odd odor from drain 3) clear mold/mildew development on bathroom floor that was never addressed. After emailing the front manager, Ernestias of the hotel about this, I have yet to hear back at all. Overall, honestly not a bad hotel experience. The breakfast is great, overall amenities are decent. Location convenient. But this negligence from a housekeeping standpoint is really, really unacceptable. If the hotel doesn't reconcile these issues, will definitely be filing consumer complaints. -- The hotel did take responsibility. It seems the problem could be localized to certain rooms and certain cleaning staff, but I'm not sure

We stayed at Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell as a family and were delighted to be given a 1 King Suite with Sofa Bed. We visited for a family break in London and wanted somewhere comfortable, well located and practical for both adults and children. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt like a thoughtful base rather than simply a place to sleep. Clerkenwell has plenty of character, and the hotel reflects the area in a way that feels distinctive without being overdone. For anyone searching for a family-friendly hotel in Clerkenwell, the generous suite layout made a real difference to our stay. Our first impression was how bright and stylish the room felt. The modern colour palette was lifted by plenty of natural light, while colourful details referenced Clerkenwell’s history of goldsmiths, architects and clockmakers. The design had personality, but the room still felt calm and easy to live in as a family. The clockmaking theme was especially well handled, with small decorative touches throughout the suite rather than anything too theatrical. One fun detail was that the time shown on the clock outside our door matched the room itself, which gave us something unusual to notice and talk about. Despite the strong design, comfort remained the priority. The 1 King Suite with Sofa Bed was the highlight of our stay. The king bed was comfortable, while the sofa bed gave us the extra sleeping space we needed without making the room feel cramped. Having a proper suite created useful separation and gave everyone more room to settle in, which is important when travelling with children. The themed details inspired by local clockmaking added character, while the bright colours and locally influenced design made the space feel connected to Clerkenwell. The bathroom also felt well considered, with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower, handheld showerhead and a large, well-lit mirror. The Urban Apothecary amenities were a welcome touch and are vegan, cruelty-free and made in the UK. Overall, the suite felt spacious, practical and appropriately special for the setting. Service throughout our stay was friendly and straightforward, and the hotel was easy to navigate as a family. We appreciated the practical touches that supported a comfortable visit without drawing too much attention to themselves. Sustainability was also built into the experience through LED lighting, motion sensors and Greener Stay door hangers. These measures felt sensible rather than intrusive. We had breakfast at Wilderness Kitchen. It was okay and provided a convenient start to the day, although it was not the most memorable part of the stay. The wider hotel experience, particularly the room, was much stronger. Families looking for a London hotel with a king suite and sofa bed should find the layout especially useful. This hotel would suit families who want more space than a standard London hotel room usually provides, while still enjoying a central location with a strong sense of place. The suite worked well for adults and children, and the combination of a king bed, sofa bed and generous bathroom made longer stays feel manageable. Couples would also enjoy the design and atmosphere, but the room configuration makes this hotel particularly appealing for family city breaks. Weekends work well for exploring London, while a weekday stay may offer a slightly calmer pace. Our overall experience was very positive, largely because the suite exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful clockmaking theme, natural light, comfortable layout and practical family features made the stay feel both stylish and relaxed. Thank you to Mikaela for making our check-in smoother. Breakfast was acceptable rather than exceptional, but it did not take away from the quality of the accommodation. We would happily return to Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell and would recommend it to families looking for a distinctive, comfortable and family-friendly hotel in central London.
