  Propere, moderne kamer. Ruime badkamer. Ontbijt erg lekker. Goeie douche. Centrale locatie, dichtbij openbaar vervoer. Vriendelijke ontvangst aan de receptie.

  Stepping into Hotel Indigo Clerkenwell feels like stepping into a piece of London’s history ✨ The hotel beautifully celebrates the area’s watchmaking heritage, with thoughtful design touches throughout, from the rich colours and intricate clock-inspired details to the character woven into every corner of the space. Our room was the perfect blend of style and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the lighting was one of our favourite features. With plenty of individual switches, you can create your own mood, whether you’re winding down for the evening or getting ready for a day exploring the city. A small detail we absolutely loved was that the bathroom has its own volume control, so you can still hear the TV while getting ready. Such a simple touch, but it made a big difference! Breakfast was delicious too, with the option to enjoy it downstairs or have a cosy breakfast in bed. And to top it all off, we were lucky enough to watch the Red Arrows fly right past our window, a pretty special sight! ❤️✈️

  The bar doubles as a pub that was once called the Hat and Feathers A lovely building that has been derelict for years. The refurbishment is pleasant but the vibe and non-existant service certainly lean to the snooty hotel. If you want a pub go elsewhere.

  We stayed here for 4 nights. The room itself was nice, but the housekeeping standards were highly disappointing. Our room was only cleaned once after the very first night. I spoke to the reception clerk after our room was skipped the first time, spoke to them again after the second time, and raised it one last time with the receptionist during checkout. While the staff were polite and everyone was really sorry, absolutely nothing was done to fix the issue during our stay. For an IHG hotel, this is definitely not the standard you expect.

  On our recent trip to London, we had accommodations plans fall through at the last minute (literally when we landed at Heathrow). It was 0655 and we hadn’t slept on our flight from the US, so we were not only exhausted but already feeling jet lag, and then realized we had nowhere to go. I checked my Booking.com app and saw this hotel had rooms available for reasonable prices. I called and spoke to the front desk and explained our situation and asked about checking in “ASAP”. Most hotels won’t allow that, but this amazing place allowed us to book at the Booking.com price, put myself and my husband in a room right next to our friends, and let us check in when we made it to the hotel from the airport (around 0930) so we could shower and get a few hours’ sleep to be able to start acclimatizing to UK time. Then, not only did they help us out with an early check in, but they recommended a GREAT experience at Spitalfields Market that night for our first dinner in London. I’ve never in my life had a hotel help out customers the way Hotel Indigo did. I will never stay anywhere else when I come to London; this location has created a loyal customer for life! Thank you all!
